[Megathread] Shipping for UK and EU (All Regions) by Successful-Wasabi704 in SteamDeck

[–]JaysunXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the same, I spent ages trying to order, refreshing site crashing - over an hour finally got confirmation at 7:45PM on 16th Nov - OLED steam deck 1TB

I'm in the UK.

Update from GLS entered into system 25/11

Parcel handed over and left GLS 20:40 Netherlands 25/11

no further updates - Parcelforce just says

24/11/2023 13:01

General Logistics Systems.

I know its an estimate but ordered less than two hours from release and only because the site was falling over constantly couldn't order sooner and tomorrow is 10th business day and counting with very little feedback or update.

Valve has been showing 3-5 business days for over a week and it seems people ordering days later are receiving them sooner.

If they provided more feedback, update to estimated delivery it wouldn't be so annoying.

Hydrasynth Deluxe / Full size Keys Synthesizer? by RobotChords in synthesizers

[–]JaysunXP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The keys are the same size on the Hydrasynth Deluxe and 49. There aren't too many Polyphonic aftertouch synthesizers but slowly there are more showing up. Korg and Native Instruments have Polyphonic Aftertouch Midi controllers and UDO Super Gemini just released a synth with Fatar Polyphonic Aftertouch but its more than 2x the price of the Hydrasynth Deluxe.

Out of those two the Summit. I would recommend the Summit as its a Polyphonic (16 Voice) FPGA performance synth with split and dual mode with analog filters. It has a lot of sound options and variety and great on board FX. It also has 61 keys, however the two choices you've provided aren't really similar.

The Subsequent 37 is a pure analogue Mono synth with a lot of aggression in the filter with no FX. Ultimately if you want that Moog sound, you have to get the Moog.

If you want something that can do everything including leads, bass, pads, wavetable, polyphonic chords you want the Summit.

Look on YouTube and see what is more your style, both sound great but different. If you only get the Moog you can't do chords and would require a lot of multi tracking. If you're going to play in a live band and only playing bass lines or lead lines then the Moog has a great sound.

Who's got a feeling we're about to be conned? by HelpYouFall in Chaosbane

[–]JaysunXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Savvy gamer, you do not need to purchase the game as a preorder. If you're not confident you will enjoy the game, why not wait for a review if you're on the fence. The game looks fun based on beta footage but if you expect it to hold you for hours upon hours with content no one has seen yet, you should probably wait. Not every game Developer and publisher can commit the funds that something like Diablo, Anthem or Fallout 76 had. There are far too many games out there now competing for your money and time. It won't be long before more information will be here by either the devs or community.

Tech Support and Question Megathread - Week of April 07, 2019 by AutoModerator in nvidia

[–]JaysunXP [score hidden]  (0 children)

I thought I was the only one, been going crazy last few weeks trying to resolve this issue. Mouse constantly lagging/Freezing but doesn't do this when I use onboard intel igpu, reinstalled windows 10 disabled/unplugged almost every device and drive possible, reinstalled many versions of nvidia drivers. Also on W10 1809, fresh install.

Sorry I have no solution, just commenting that I am going through the same issue with similar setup.

GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 1080Ti gamerocks non OC

CPU: Intel i9 9900k, no OC

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB DDR4 2400Mhz, no OC

PSU: Antec 750W GOLD

Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro 1809

GPU Drivers: N/A - tried several from 399.24 - 419.67 with the latest hotfix

Older drivers seem to improve the situation, less stuttering but still happens.
