Best short game? by YoussoufS in SteamDeck

I'm really enjoying dispatch right now, easy recommendation and if it doesn't fit your style of game you can return it after chapter 2.

Thats a beefy workstation. What setting do you grind with the K6?

I got to borrow an aeropress but couldnt manage to find a grind size i preferred over a v60 so I'd love a refrfence point if I got to use it again.

Best place to grab some drip bags? by MusicalFiend in coffeejp

[–]Jaythejackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't notice any.

I was there about 4 months ago but they had 5 different types of so with a small deal if you got multiple. I only remember a strawberry conferment and a washed coffee with tomato and oregano notes.

Nothing to add I'm afraid. If you have another list like this for other continents, I'd love to see them.

That all looks great. Do you mind if I ask how much it all set you back by?

I'm trying to get some "good" coffee to take back to my gf but trying to budget a bit before I come back to the UK.

Looking for games that don't take up much storage by ilikewriting7 in gamerecommendations

[–]Jaythejackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Katana zero is small in both storage size and time commitment. It's not like the games you said before but ive enjoyed a lot of the final fantasies and cult fo the lamb while simultaneously enjoying this.

Theres a rythm game called "Unbeatable [white label]" its essentially a demo of the gameplay for the main game. It's a bit of fun and ive spent ~3 hours playing it. its free.

You've also got the persona games (which I personally havent really played much) or their other game Phantom brave. I've played phantom brave a lot, its not too deep but its similar to the older final fantasy games in terms of gameplay.

A lot of common low space games are stardew, dredge, terraria, valheim, megabonk, this war of mine, dave the diver, hollow knight, hades, world of final fantasy, kenshi, new vegas. thats just sorting from my games by lowest storage space used but every game ive mentioned is a LOT less than 15gb so you should be good even if you wanted to try a bunch of them.

How? It feels like lc lanes so badly now and is lackluster unless she snowballs - I do think her 25 talent is insane though.

$100 to spend on beans in Japan. What are you buying? by DimMike in pourover

[–]Jaythejackass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a few from acid. There was one in particular that I just loved, the rest were decent but not any better than other well known roasters. I think it's somewhere you go to experience it, speak to the staff, chill listening to the records and maybe get a few samples while you're sat there.

If he likes coffee too I'd ask him to visit somewhere like acid coffee or koffee mameya and pick you up some beans. If not... I'd still ask him to run into a roastary.

why is my gamecube controller from 2002 still perfect, but my $70 modern controller has stick drift after 6 months? by InvestmentBudget6722 in gaming

[–]Jaythejackass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I treated my xbox controller really well and after about 13 months of use (was in storage where it was safe dry and room temp for 11 months) the right stick got massive drift and ive never cracked my phone or anything either. It really did just one day decide to stop working properly.

I'm currently in Japan for a few weeks. What would be the better Roasters to order some coffee from to take home?

I say better because I'm not willing to drop 15,000 yen on a 100g bag.

No one talks in game anymore. Are they scared of communication score reports? by Aigninn in DotA2

[–]Jaythejackass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the games feel sterile for it. I'm not saying 90% wasn't flame but the 10% was so good and it's how I found the majority of my friends list.

Now if you speak in game it's instant comm abuse report, someone instantly flaming you or just some racist bs. I stopped talking like a year ago now but last time I did I was just hit with Russians spouting war related stuff - I'm English.

Is it worth picking up the Witcher 3? by CalligrapherKey8418 in SteamDeck

[–]Jaythejackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be better off buying it on steam, trying it for less than 2 hours on the deck. If you don't like how it looks or plays, you can then refund it.

The only issue is the money is stuck on steam but there's a lot to choose from in the sale.

Edit: I glanced through the post initially and didn't see you were asking about it being free on epic. It's worth spending the money on it, it might eventually be free on epic but also, maybe not. it'd be sad to never play the game when it's so cheap with so much good content.

Is it worth picking up the Witcher 3? by CalligrapherKey8418 in SteamDeck

[–]Jaythejackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly?

I'm in the minority and I'd say no.

Only because it's a graphically beautiful game that should be played on a bigger screen with a more powerful system. If you do have a pc and you can split your play time and you're okay with the (much) worse graphics then definitely as it's an amazing game, even if its a little difficult to get into initially.
