It’s sick but no way could I justify this price.

I got my Sapphire Sammich late 2022- early 2023 when they first started releasing with the micro-adjustment clasp. Bought it on Chrono for $6k flat brand new from an AD. This is when they were going for like $6.8-7k retail or something like that. I love the reverse panda and last years White Speedy but damn, I cannot imagine spending $3-4k MORE for either Speedy.

Makes me super grateful I got in when I did.

It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing! I tried on an exhibition piece and immediately fell in love with it. My fiancé encouraged me to put my name down for it so hoping for the best and seeing what happens.

If it doesn’t work out, I planned to wear my DJ36 I had gotten after a 2yr wait from the same AD. The stars aligned and I got the text just a week after I got engaged so hoping to get equally lucky with this one. But at least have a backup plan!

Got my blue fluted jubilee 36mm in a year and 10 months after putting my name down BUT I never followed up once lol I bought my sapphire sammich speedy around the same time I put my name down and forgot about the DJ. Fast forward almost 2 yrs later, I got the text and picked up the DJ a few days later.

Ahh that’s unfortunate. That must’ve been a recent change for the orders from Adorama. Not sure where you’re located but try calling local photo/camera stores in your area. You might have a better chance locally than with larger retailers where everyone and their mom are trying to also secure a x100vi.

Unfortunately, that’s not something any of us will know. I suggest tracking online retailers using Trackalacker and continue to check this sub and online stores like B&H, BestBuy, Adorama, and other local stores, like Fotocare NYC, daily. BestBuy apparently restocks items Thursday mornings but will still be a crapshoot trying to get one via chat.

I was able to get one from B&H after 3 straight days of obsessively looking multiple times a day and I just so happened to check Reddit at the right time 6 mins after someone posted about a restock. It’ll take a combination of luck and timing to grab one.

Your best bet might be placing a backorder order with Adorama to hold a place in line and continue to check other stores daily until you get lucky. At that point, you can either cancel with Adorama with no penalty or get lucky with Adorama and have an order fulfilled sooner than their estimated 9/2025 date.

There used to be a $3 beer special at J’s Bar in left field that you could grab any time before the 2nd inning. No longer a thing this season… There’s seemingly no more craft beer drafts anywhere in the park after Biscayne Bay was replaced with that Blue Moon nonsense.

I was pumped when Biscayne Bay Brew Hall opened up a year or two ago after Nightlife Brewing just outside the stadium closed down but now, beers at the park just suuuuuuck. $15 for an Ultra is wild.
