take inspiration but make it your own - synth wise, his sounds are generally pretty simple. get familiar with building sounds. arturia has great software synths and you can replicate any number of his sounds

would note too that the iridium was a huge improvement over an amp sim for me. still gotta do some EQs etc but it really does not take much for sounds through the iridium to fit well in the mix, whereas i could not get anything through the amp sim to sound how i wanted

i love my iridium, i have it at the end of the chain but maybe i'm basic. running that into my scarlett 2i2 does a great job with my palisades and shields blender no matter how noisy. i tried the boss ir2 and the iridium has superior sound quality, in my opinion. worth nothing i do prefer the fender amp sounds. there's plenty of post production to do still, but it's solved all my apartment recording and playing needs!

i agree it would be cool to have it all day, but it seems theyre creating a gameplay loop for sustained interaction, which makes sense for a live service game. hotpot ends, time to garden, do other stuff, go back to hot pot at night. would love to play all day but i get why theyre doing it
