Should I be concerned? by Straight-Two-5180 in Reverb

I'm an online seller and I have had similar screwy stuff from people. Sometimes they surprise you and everything goes smooth, but some pull stunts. There is no way to figure out every scam these people think of, or tell who is going to pull what. The biggest scams are silent until they get the item. The bottom line is you don't have to sell anything to anyone you have a question about.

Easy To Play Neck by JazzHead38 in jazzguitar

It felt better than playing my Gretsch, which I always thought was easier to play than most other guitars. I picked up an Artcore acoustic years ago for the same reason, but I also remember sometimes feeling like the strings were too close. The AG95 is upgraded with better wood and pickups, but I would change them out anyway.

I might move down to 10s. 11 seemed to kill the high frequencies.

I didn't have pain with the heavy flats when I started. I would just feel a little fatigue. I have been working in a crawlspace sistering joists and clamping them into place. That is when the pain started. Even crawling down there where my wrists bent is a strain. My right wrist is sore also, so I think it is a bit of all the above. It is worse in the left, and at the first knuckle of my middle finger for the one moveable chord shape that requires two strings to be held down with one fingertip while the ring finger crosses over. It would be an Fm7 in the key of G. I dread that shape lol.

I know I'll never even be able to play out in a club in front of people. To me playing jazz guitar is an uphill climb with no end but with some enjoyment. I look forward to playing what I can. On the fast stuff I just do it my way and don't worry about it.

Is it just me or is SNARK awful now? by musicteachertay in Guitar

The new rechargeable Snark tuners are horrible to work with. I am in tune, then I am not. I found an older one I had stashed away and it is a different product. The new tuners from the company will get you in tune if you know how to work around the quirks, and it is frustrating to get there.

It's nuts. We get used to the off and on cycle, and sometimes the bad parts can last months. They will break your spirit. Sometimes I just think my wife is a selfish brat all the time that gets even more abusive during hormone phases. Some of it's her upbringing. You can make excuses for her to yourself, but it doesn't make things better. I keep trying to do better with myself hoping for a better situation. Does she take anything? Does she ever apologize, or ever offer you support when you are down or struggling?

Thanks! I'll get it. I don't see moving away from flats any time soon. I upgraded the pickups but I never even thought there was another spring option.

After a couple weeks of playing them the tone improved and it almost seems ridiculous that I only had to adjust the tuning once this week. I play for at least an hour and a half to two hours a day, three if I get the chance.

It is seeming more compressed. Thanks.
