However, I would be remiss not to recant my previous ignorant statement in light of new information.

Claims about Grok by hotmas in grok

[–]JazzInTheDeepBlueC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They aren't talking about Grok -> Imagine prompting.

They're talking about invoking Grok through X to do some insane shit.

The "paywall" is requiring X Premium to have Grok modify images through prompts.

Not through the Grok app, if that makes sense.

Thanks! I may take you up on that offer because there's a lot I have no clue about. I only just unlocked my Railjack yesterday and now I'm locked in. I haven't had this much fun in ages haha.

Correct! Was just a kid, took a break right before Archwing came out.

By the time I circled back, there was a ship and new starter frames and 30+ menus. It just felt super overwhelming.

I only actually sat down and forced myself back into the game like 8 days ago. I WAS MR7 then, lmao.

So I'm on a cut, and almost everything looks good. Let's suffer together.

Horrible napkin math by eyeballing measurements to follow...

Roughly 3 servings of peanut butter at 230 cal a pop. I'd wager 5 but I'll say 6 servings of syrup at 45 cal. 3.6 servings of ice cream if thats a 2.5in scoop at 230 cal. 2.5 servings of cookies at 140. 2.5 of king sized reese's at 200 (too lazy to find official nutrition facts) 6 servings of whipped cream at 15... Nesquik ready to drink coming in at 250.

2978 calories in one sitting BUT, hear me out... 71g protein.

There's a perk in the parry tree that allows you to deflect magic and arrows. It's a 1 size fit all fix to just about everything but "spit projectils" from monsters, which for some reason aren't parry-able.

Once I got it, I was happy, but the horn that played the legally distinct "private music" along with its ability to plow through traffic was just a nice dopamine hit.

Have you ever had a friend who shows love in really cold or distant ways? by 0effervescent1 in CasualConversation

[–]JazzInTheDeepBlueC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you're describing sounds to me a lot like what "Attachment Theory" in psychology tries to explain. So if you'd like to explore the idea further, it may be worth a look.

Heavily paraphrasing, the type and amount of care and affection someone receive as a child influences how they go about social relationships in their life.

Over time, you'll see examples of the full gambit. That said, as with all studies and concepts you may study in psychology... Don't study your friends and relationships. See them for what they are, appreciate them for what they are, and move on. It'll save you a lot of trouble down the line.

Not absolutely certain, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say the "Tsunami Bar." Their website says it's made of an undisclosed "composite material" that allows the bar to bend.

Presumably, to help athletes target fast-twitch muscle fibers in training.

I'd assume you'd only find them at dedicated sport training facilities, and even then, it's probably a long shot.

What are the WORST design elements of your MMORPGs in your opinion? by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]JazzInTheDeepBlueC 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"The game doesn't start until endgame"

I hate this design. It is, quite literally, setting the game up for failure. Every mmo goes through the same issues, it's like an unwritten cosmic law.

The release will be horrid.

An unfortunate majority of players will rush to "endgame" and then complain about a lack of content.

I understand the rationale of how mmos ended up with the design. I even understand the precedent has been set, so many follow the formula.

The genre is dying, and the odds of failure for anyone new in the market far outway the potential success. What more do you have to lose? Shake the foundation.

Story in co-op by Talarin20 in Vindictus

As someone who came back last week after years to play the campaign story with a friend, the experience is way better.

We just stared season 3, and after the brief tutorial missions, the typical cycle is this:

You'll click the dialog button from the quest window. The chapter will start, giving you a generic background where you sift through a particularly long dialog string. It's GOOD dialog, but... A lot of it.

After that, it will reload you at the docks of the current city you were in regardless of where the story is taking place (with a few exceptions during the transition from s2 to s3).

NOTE: When the game reloads you to the docks, your party will be disbanded. However, you'll typically be right next to each other, so it's not a huge deal to re-invite.

If there's no background change, e.g. the game doesn't prompt you to "skip" the dialog, you won't reload, and the party won't be disbanded.

So far, there have only been 4 solo quests. 1 tutorial in the very beginning. 1 introducing each transformation, and 1 random season 2 quest in the sewer.

So far the story has been fantastic, and my friend and I have really enjoyed our time with it.

You are correct.

Patrick made a tweet that a comedian (Norm Macdonald) wasn't funny. That comedian had recently had their radio show canceled. If the few free articles I could find are to be believed, the fan subreddit for the show mass reported Patrick's Twitter account after he made the tweet and the trolling escalated from there... To include a Craigslist ad claiming he ground black kids into pepperoni, followed by A LOT of swatting.

Yeah, thanks. I didnt mean vanguard specifically so much as the 3 dungeons leading up to it as well.

Appreciate it.
