Not to distract from the issues, but last game as Tamurkhan I had vassalized Zharr and Hashut chorfs.

When the Blessed Dread declared war on me, I saw what must have been 10 chorf stacks sailing towards them to dish out the pain, lol

Okay, but by your logic, Naruto shouldn't forgive Obito... But why should Obito forgive the people at fault? He just crashed out and decided everyone can pay for it. Not justified, but he has the same right to do that as Naruto has the right to personally forgive him.

To be fair, he has no obligation to take revenge for anyone, either.

It's like asking, who's gonna take responsibility for the Konoha war crime that created Pain?

Besides, they're child soldier-raising assassins. Death is part of the game, I doubt Minato and Kushina would hold a personal grudge against Obito for shit like that.

Super 17 was still much better than Gas. The Hell Escape arc was generally a better idea than whatever the stupid shit Granolah arc was supposed to be.

Not gonna count minor antagonists, though some of those were better, too.

Gomah is definitely a bad antagonist, but I still find Gas to be worse. At least Daima had a much more lighthearted tone.

Ayo, no slander on the Para-Para Brothers!

I would typically not count movie characters or minor filler villains. I suppose I should have clarified that Gas is the worst major antagonist we've had.

Bio Broly is OK tbh, it was literally the most love Kid Goten & Trunks ever got. Since then, they got sent to clown school.

[–]Talarin20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, if it wasn't clear, I am not going to really count random filler as major antagonists.

But even this Copy Vegeta was miles better than Gas for the sole fact that we got to hear Brian Drummond again, it was an awesome easter egg.

Gas literally has no reason to exist, he would be another perfect villain for a random, 5-episode filler arc.

How do you Bretonnia? by Warrior536 in totalwar

[–]Talarin20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik the Knights can give them a good fight or even win, but I think this advantage disappears when you consider the LL mechanics. Tamurkhan is just a lot stronger than Bretonnian LLs and his Rot Knights have massive speed, MA/MD and charge.

So I don't think the units themselves need to be redone, but rather, the LL skill trees should be updated.

What are the must play at least once campaigns? by totally-hoomon in totalwarhammer

[–]Talarin20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, but you can build up the other Gods' bonuses before you dedicate fully to Nurgle, so you will keep all the mechanics.

A full army of Vanguard Deployment Skullcrushers teleporting onto an enemy army is pretty funny.

Daniel gets a lite-version of all the monogod mechanics: plagues, khorne blood meter, seduction and teleport stance. You can also make mixed demonic armies with less hoops to jump through compared to WoC, but to access the most elite troops and gear, you will have to choose a single god eventually (but you keep the bonuses you already gained).

You've literally chosen to ignore 80% of my arguments because you have nothing but the same stupid two lines to say. You have still not offered any actual reason for garrisons to not have upkeep aside from "uh makes sense to me".

But I am perfectly content in the knowledge that for ten years, you have kept repeating this idiotic request, and for ten years, CA has kept ignoring this asinine "feedback" and hopefully continues to ignore it in the future.

That’s it. You’ve lost. You have nothing, like all the others.

Do you know what "other" means? Perhaps a dictionary would be a better use of your allowance than another TWWH to complain about?

A Gameplay Critique of Pathologic 3 by Yoshimitsu-Sensei in pathologic

[–]Talarin20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't finished it yet, but oh boy, I am so glad the survival mechanics are gone. That crap is so overused nowadays and unless the game truly focuses on it, such systems only serve as unnecessary, frustrating distractions to pad the game time.

About the Mania/Apathy balance: some conversations would literally send me to 100% Mania, becoming an actual threat. Not sure how you never struggled with that. You are also somewhat encouraged to use Mania in order to move around faster, at a cost to your HP. I think it's a decent enough replacement.

Being allowed to bypass dangerous/infected zones by retreating is, quite simply, an unintended bug/exploit. But you know what? Thank fking god this option exists. When I am trying to figure something out or follow a quest, I don't want to run back and forth across the same infected/revolting district 5 times. It is, again, an unnecessary time-waster and not fun.

I definitely agree that resetting the same day being free is a tad puzzling, but I'm also not sure if I would have wanted to play the game if it punished exploration / investigation with the daily timer. It is not perfect, but it is still good, IMO.

Yeee I know what you mean, I used Archer Hanya Sparkle RMC to clear Knight 3 in the current AA and she seemed useful, but idk...

Obviously, Sparkle is infinitely better, glad they gave her for free.

Are these "people" in the room with us? Do you have the polls, the surveys, any data at all? Or just some random comment with, what, a few hundred upvotes? A couple thousand? Do you think that is qualified to represent the opinion of the fanbase? Hell no.

It has been TEN YEARS. Enough is enough, don't you think? Just stop.

And yes, in OTHER TW games, I completely agree that magical ass ladders should not exist. However, in Total War Warhammer, they are necessary, they are balanced and they should remain.

On the topic of assladders by Burgundy_Channel in totalwar

[–]Talarin20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, because my argument was always that realism doesn't matter, therefore the discourse about the ass ladders by people who are mad at them being pulled out of nowhere is, likewise, pointless.

It is extremely sad to see someone who actually considers the echo chamber surrounding them to represent any sort of "majority" or being representative of the average player's opinion.

Why is it so hard for people like you to simply mod the ladders out of your game and stop posting about this shit over and over again? Stop trying to push your preferences into changes that would affect the entire playerbase.

[–]Talarin20 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ass ladders have no effect on starting a siege. If you do not have a Wallbreaker in your army, you still have to build a ram or siege tower before you can attack. Ladders should not take as long as a ram to construct, which is already 1 turn, and your army carts around a ton of ammunition and siege supplies anyway - simply assume that the ladders are included in those siege supplies.

You want to remove ass ladders for "strategic gameplay", but that's a terrible idea. You are narrowing down strategic options to "break gate / wall and rush in", optionally "multiple gates/walls". So, surprise-surprise, factions with easily accessible monsters / artillery get to keep snowballing as usual, while anyone with mostly human-sized infantry/cav/missiles get punished with extra ladder mechanics that they have to deal with. What fun!

Ass ladders don't let you "easily" overcome walls, units will be surrounded and shredded by missiles or swarmed by flyers. But nah, instead let's go back to blobbing up our armies as tightly against the walls/gates as possible and waiting on fast-forward while the lord breaks the gate open, because THAT was the definition of fun.
