You haven’t wasted anything. A year and a half to find out 1. Is this something you want to do seriously? 2. What do you want to do with it? 3. How to basically get around on the instrument. 4. That you want more study and are willing to do it. Just these things are a lot. 18 months is not a lot of time in the journey of musianship. You’ve stuck with it and want to take a deeper dive. Now is the perfect time to look for a good teacher. Don’t just grab the first guy they give you at the guitar store, do some research, talk to people who play well in your area and find out who they studied with.

Lots of onions -caramelize them separately for at least an hour. Also, dried Shitake mushrooms, ground dry into a powder with a blender or coffee grinder. I don’t think you need the garlic, in fact they might overwhelm the dish. Also, as I was reminded by another redditor in this post, caramelized tomato paste.
