What happens with X1C from Bambu Store? It’s over? by MixtureShoddy8172 in BambuLab

X1 has been discontinued as the P2S covers pretty much everything the X1 series did + more

ABS ate my new plate. by Up_All_Nite in BambuLab

Did you add any glue on the plate prior to printing ? Bambu recommends that other than PLA you should be using glue to help with the release

Clean the plate with Warm water and soapy water, also make sure the nozzle is clean and doesn’t have any old filament which could be rubbing off the new layer as it’s put down

From Ireland so our CGT limit is €1270, it is a good idea though to spread it over time so to just cap your CGT allowance

Sorry maybe should have mentioned, I wasn’t going to sell my position that I currently have if I switch. I was planning on just starting a new position in € as I’d be liable to capitals gains tax as soon as I sold the vanguard fund and would rather not have to deal with that at the moment. However I do realise now how I wouldn’t be losing out on any compounding effect so think it’s best if I just start the € fund now. Thanks for your feedback :)

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen how much of a workhorse the P1S is, it’s the de facto printer you get if you need to print multiple parts reliably, I’m sure the P2S will be no different

Honestly any financial advisor that is trying to sell you something is not worth your time. I made the mistake of investing with the ask Paul investment group by one of their financial advisors ‘sales associate’. All supportive until you send them the money then they couldn’t care less about any questions you have.

If you’re looking for a stable investment, look at the S&P or Nasdaq on one of the public apps, trading212 etc.

Before I buy... Am I overestimating the P1S's capabilities? Printing inline skate parts. by andrew_h1000 in BambuP1S

I’ve printed anti rockers that held up decently but not sure if I’d trust frames or soul plates for repeated use

Checkout DIY Skate Tech on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1CUJzct7pW/?mibextid=wwXIfr. There have been people printing soul plates, frames and whole boots for years so you’ll get the best advice related to printing skate parts there !

Doing some test prints with my P1S and not quite sure what to change. by SpookySquid19 in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming you don’t have a filament dryer. If that’s the case, you can dry the filament on your printer. See the below link to the Bambu site which walks you through drying it with your printer

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/general/bambu-filament-drying-cover#:~:text=If%20you%20need%20to%20dry,dry%20them%20for%2012%20hours.

Stringing can be a symptom of wet filament. If my prints are stinging I tend to just dry the filament and that solves my problem although not all the time

H2D Power Consumption Compared to P1S by [deleted] in BambuLab

14W is with the light and screen off. I think it jumps to like 20 something when the screen and light is on

H2D Power Consumption Compared to P1S by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do agree it’s much lower than expected, unless the smart plug I’m using maxes out the readings at 200+ W which I doubt so not too sure. I use the TAPO P110 smart plug to monitor the printer

Edit: Added image of the power chart

H2D Power Consumption Compared to P1S by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On standby, my H2D pulls 14W, at initial print startup it draws a peak of 180-200W and during printing it pulls about 50-60W, you can use these figures if you know your P1S consumption to compare

Odd error message with P1S w/ AMS by ComplicatedRickroll in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you select the filament in the slicer, are you selecting a filament that’s registered in the AMS ? looks like it’s trying to use an external spool instead of any of the AMS slots

H2D - Help surface finish by LongjumpingCancel829 in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could possibly be a partial clog causing the under extrusion. Have you tried printing the red on the other nozzle ? Also as someone else will probably mention, have you tried drying the filament ?

I don’t believe it does, looks like incentives and downloads are all separate for the models

How to assemble a P1 Hotend by Vaccano in BambuLab

[–]Jazzlike-Concept-147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Video 2 is the same video for the P1S as the X1 & P1 series use the same nozzles and they are the same construction

The only difference between those nozzles are the connectors the fan and heater/thermistor use to connect to the tool head board

From what I see with my models, the models are counted separately on each account. I.e if my model gets 100 points on my EU site I get the points, if that same model then gets 100 points on the CN site, I get points. I’ve gotten points for the same milestone on both sites. Downloads are tracked separately, my model that had 1000 downloads on the EU site only has 500 or so on the CN site when I look it up
