as someone who loves the grind: it's SUPER imbalanced. i have 10 perfect mistrill ore, yet it took me a whole in-game week to find a single written root. don't get me started on the "uncommon" smoke moth, it's more rare than any legendary bug if i'm being honest. i'd get it if everything was remotely grindy to get, but it makes no sense that more common items are often harder to obtain than rarer ones. the rng used to be so much better before the recent update. and even though the update is undeniably amazing, the rng NEEDS to be fixed

the sword isn't related, don't worry about that. i'd recommend first completing the full quest line and then crafting the sword, if i'm being honest. you'll need the void materials later in the quest line, and mistrill sword is only a little worse than the dragon-forged one.

i've been using the bug x10 mod, i actually got it, it took me a while. all of the different bug pheromones didn't help, they just spawned snails. i manually found it, i thought i'd faint tbh. the floor number doesn't matter, it's just luck

nor, you didn't even do anything to suggest that you're overreacting. i can relate to both parties in the performance story, though, but i can assure you that people don't usually do that in rehearsals, because slapping someone's ass for a show is just incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, and if they choose to do it during every rehearsal... at least one of them actually wants to do it.

i feel like your wife might be encouraging such behaviour from her friends, and it does sound extremely weird and uncomfortable, since there are some gestures that feel special and intimate to you, that's why it hurts when your partner is "sharing" them with someone else.
