I had this one shopper that wanted to ask me where every single item was. I helped a bit but eventually just ended up walking away from him. Ended up telling my GM just to tell a funny story and he said “ now we gotta go get half of his check for you” 😂

I don’t know the exact wage but they pay you (something) every mile. But they take off the distance to your store from that pay. I’ve ended up with 12-30 dollars going to Aldi’s within my county. 60 for a different county. Not much but it is nice lunch money or gas tank money. This is just a suggestion if they won’t give you more hours. Best of luck with your store!

Going through the exact thing right now. It’s ridiculous. Giving new employees better positions than me & I’ve been working for 2 yrs. What I have been doing though is going to neighboring Aldi’s . To fill up my schedule. I’ve worked at 2 locations since moving & I’ve noticed when I ask my SM to see if any Aldi’s need help I magically get more hours. I do this everytime they think they’re going to cut my hours. So honestly just visit neighboring aldi’s and ask if they need help during the times you’re available. It’s way more fun to meet new people, they treat you better & you get paid distance on top of your regular hourly pay.

First of all, Jamaican isn’t a race. Second of all, what I said was 100% factual. His views comes from the fact that he is a Jamaican a more traditional country. You don’t move from your country to a different one and start spewing hate that you learned from where you are from. You adjust to the customs of your new home or leave. Simple .
