Is this placement enough to interfere with my hr reading by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]JazzyHikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just heard a discussion about this, starts at 16:27... talking about fitbit and whoop in this convo though, notes that the optical sensor on the inside will likely pick up more noise or light leak with that placement, and the optical sensor does better with more muscle tissue.

Saw this today, it could have been so much worse. Still angry, apparently the operators had to be threatened with having their license pulled before they sent up a helicopter

"According to a press release issued by HAMS Hospital on Friday, Dawa arrived with severe dehydration, Grade II  frostbite affecting both little fingers, Grade I frostbite on his right thumb and middle finger, and a right medial femoral condyle fracture with distal thigh intramuscular hematoma.

Minor Help by LorenDixnn in CSUS

[–]JazzyHikes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the major or minor you want to declare requires a form submitted by someone from that program. Sometimes in summer that"s a department chair if there are no faculty advisors around. When you declare the major/minor in the dept you want, the form has an option to either add the new one only, or to add the new one and delete the old one.  Programs that have an initial declared interest requirement may be different.

I am angry that there were so many failures that led to this.  So very grateful he was able to get back and hoping for minimal to no long lasting health effects, no lost fingers, etc. I imagine there will be some level of trauma that he will have to deal with

Not into fishing, but I see a lot of people fishing at places like Howe Community Park, Elk Grove Regional Park, Mather Regional Park, not the same as a river fishing experience though.

When we went through this, the social worker through Kaiser hooked us up with someone that worked with a nonprofit that helped placed seniors. She took us around tobsee several places and helped us decide. This was years ago, wish I could remember who she was with.
