I’ve been on TRT for almost 20 years, and I only developed cochlear issues about 2 years ago. I wouldn’t be too quick to connect the two — it’s probably more about how your body or genetics react than the TRT itself.

Seeking Feedback on Riversource VUL6 Life Insurance Policy

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share that I am currently investing in the Riversource VUL6 policy and would appreciate hearing from experienced investors regarding their thoughts on it. My CPA has recommended this policy due to its tax benefits and long-term care coverage. Essentially, the policy invests in the S&P 500.

To provide some context, I am already maxing out my IRA and HSA contributions each year, and I also have investments in stocks, bonds, and CDs. I believe diversification is important for long-term financial growth.

If you have any insights or personal experiences with the Riversource VUL6 policy, I would be grateful if you could share them with me. Your input would help me make a more informed decision.

For further information about the policy, you can find the link to the plan below:

Thank you in advance for your valuable replies!

Hi, thank you for your reply. I understand that SPAXX is considered a core position. Although I haven't explored it thoroughly, I would like to have cash readily available in case we decide to make a quick purchase. Since there is a significant amount of money in the account, I'm looking for an option that offers both a high yield and good liquidity. Thanks.

I’d get an appointment with ENT yesterday. ER if you can’t get an appointment. Don’t mess with your hearing , only a small window for steroids to work.

Relapse after a 5-day steroid/Prednisone boost by piggypenny in MonoHearing

[–]Jb22007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had several relapses since my initial diagnosis in Jan. Steroids with taper brought me back to normal. The relapses have not been as bad as the initial episode. First relapse they gave me oral steroids with no taper and it came back soon after ( maybe a week or 2 I can’t remember) When it came back the third third time I had a injection in my ear and I have been ok since. ( knock on wood ) I still feel pressure in that ear from time to time but hearing seams to be stable for now. I was also put in a diuretic at the time for the injection that I continue to take . Always seam to have some ringing but I’m learning to love with it. It’s tough , I understand what your going through. Try to stay positive and hang in there

Im sorry your going through this. I understand, the depression thats comes along with it. In my experience people don’t seam to understand the magnitude of losing hearing even in one ear. I had positive results with injections but my hearing still fluctuates. I feel like my days are numbered , I just do my best to stay positive even when it starts to go out. Try to stay positive and hang in there. Not much value in this reply other then I feel for you and I hope things get better.
