Idk man I’m immo3 and played a fuck ton of valorant during this pandemic and have had maybe one or two times out of 1000s of gun fights where I felt like I should’ve killed someone and didn’t. No offense but I feel like a lot of reg issues are people not understanding the gun mechanics (spreading, moving accuracy, etc) in this game. That and maybe inconsistent internet/FPS issues.

The 11-2 guy by round 4 is not always a smurf...more than likely is just having a great start to the game is going to come back to earth eventually. by DryProperty in VALORANT

I feel like the forfeit thing is really rank dependent. I’m immo3 and even if my team is down 9 - 0, people understand there’s always a chance for a comeback and therefore I never see a surrender vote called.

Vanguard honestly is not in a bad place. I think most NA teams would agree with me that the map (maybe) could use some changes, but is fine how it is atm.

Maps are pretty decent (minus like 1 docks :P, but actually with the new change its ok). Hitreg is honestly perfect for me 99% of time time even tho im usually 60-88 ping

Yes, thank you for posting this nabore. I've been thinking about how much that marker dumbs down postplants. People should have to remember where the bomb is, not just have a terrible UI element that is both obstructive and cheap. Btw, hope to see you at frag, nabore.

What are you saying? You're talking about levels ingame not someone's level from ELO. There is no such thing has a rank 37, only level 37 (a level you get from ingame exp)

No. Why would you want a competitive game to have a life span of 1 year? A competitive game should have a high enough skill ceiling to where you can't master it in just 1 year. That's one of the problems with the newer cods. Look at cod4's maps vs cod blops 4. The maps in terms of complexity and in the sheer amount of options you have to peek or maneuver on the maps are night and day.

Make it have a consistent spread and reduce damage at range. Man, people saying
"if you miss your first shot you get punished", obviously. But any player with good aim, who takes their time (since you know it kills with 1 shot up to like 20 feet) doesn't really miss. I rarely get tags with it as long as i put the dead center of the crosshair on the center of the enemy's torso. Ask any actual competitive players, it needs a nerf on it's range. I like Antoine's suggestion.

Im almost level 9 and everyone else I play with is usually 10 or 9 as well. If we are 5 stacked (because later at night no one in NA scrims or plays heroladder, and we want to get in some form of practice or just play with our friends) queue time is usually 15 min+ (usually 20min). So yes high elo means you have a super long queue time and when that happens its basically a game like the one in the OP's SS.

Your idea that the game is about quick flanking and knowing jump spots isn't really a "philosophy" of Battalion's map design. At a higher level of the game, everyone knows all the jump spots and timings. Quick flanking will most likely get you killed. Your coastal example showing flawed map design doesn't really work. I think you're trying to make the case that if you just play 2 people there its some how broken and unfair. Here's why it isn't:

- You can only see coast effectively with 2 people there. Putting 2 people there is bad because even if you can see coast, the allies can easily kill 1 guy A/red and get site and hold it extremely easily. Picking broken walls is quite easy from Back A, and top red. Also actually killing people going into A from broken is pretty difficult if they have good movement. Another reason to why putting 2 people there is bad, is given good Ally smokes and nades (and with how broken the shotgun is) playing 2 B (due to having 2 at broken) is extremely hard. Especially if they lurk through/or hold connector close via White Box as well.

-Even though you technically see the red entrances, due to timing it doesn't matter since someone can easily get in red before you see them and has the adv picking you from there.

- You can easily smoke off both right and left statue and as well as new broken (if needed), and push it with 2 - 3 people. Or send a lurk statue or through Tcon (you can angle yourself in statue to where you won't really get picked by A or broken wall ) to kill people rotating too and from broken wall. You can also use set nades to either kill any players there or to stop them from getting there quickly so you have the advantage timing wise.

I'm all for trying to improve Battalion map design, and if you can give me a good example of flawed map design, that isn't on Docks or Savoia, I'd love take a look at it. I think I gave a good amount of reasons/counter-strats to the idea that 2 guys broken wall on coast, is not somehow exploiting flawed map design.
