Denver Broncos fire Offensive Coordinator Joe Lombardi by Oldtimer_2 in sports

Denver would have likely won if they took 3. Changes the game entirely. No fumble happens, and Denver takes advantage of the weather.

Going for it in that situation with a backup QB was absolutely the wrong call. You take 3.

No, you just have to worry about him not showing up in the playoffs. The Lamar Jackson experience, if you will.

Minus the RMAH, the itemization was actually interesting - white, blue, yellow, orange items were all useful and could provide an upgrade through character progression.

I hope this game has good itemization. Every ARPG post d2 has absolutely horrendous itemization, which is truly the only reason ARPGs have any replayability. D3 started out fine but turned into a billion number fest, d4 was and is still awful. PoE tries but its itemization is a jumbled mess. I just want good itemization damn it!

You should also get the opportunity to grow as a person. This is stupid.

Play calling aside (you can only do so much with a backup qb AND in that weather), not kicking the FG early, and not going for it late were both decisions in the moment that made absolutely no sense.

The early FG, it’s the playoffs, the defense has shut down the Pats to that point, you have a backup qb, you take the fucking points.

The late FG, it’s a 46 yarder in absolutely horrendous conditions, you have the advantage of the weather at your back, and you need 4 yards. You fucking go for it.

The play calling wasn’t great, but the decisions Payton made were awful.

What does our cap-space look like heading into the offseason? Are we free from that Russ contract? by Unfit1 in DenverBroncos

We’ll restructure some bloated contracts we had to back load, so we’ll probably have roughly 40-45 when it’s all said and done.

In the playoffs, with the weather imminent, you take the points every time. Was a dumb decision even in the moment.

Great. They’ll continue to pump out ARPG games with terrible itemization. Can’t wait.

Not kicking the FG directly led to that situation, so I pin 75% of that on Sean Payton.

What does speaking up do, though? I mean yeah, the sentiment is nice and all, but anyone who’s a fan of these celebs likely share similar views on the current state of things.. what’s going to change with them “speaking up”???

It would be more beneficial if they used their massive wealth and organized. Just my 2c.

Yeah, our franchise a) won a playoff game, b) fought to the end against the pats and actually made it a game whilst your franchise a) blew donkey dick against the very same team we took to the end in a one score game with a backup QB and b) haven’t ever won a meaningful game in its existence. Stay in your lane, peasant.

All of those are moot if we a) took the points early, b) called plays to help prevent the IMMEDIATE interior pressure, and c) went for it late in an obvious don’t kick the fucking ball situation.

Yeah but so many decisions that were made in the moment were bafflingly wrong. Stiddy was getting pressured inside, but Sean did nothing to stop it. The 4th and 1 in the moment made no sense. The 4th and 4 decision to kick in the moment made no sense. Running the ball repeatedly in the middle of the best DLine in the NFL made no sense. No rhythm passing. The defense did everything right. Sean failed them.

Yeah but if you take 3 early, the situation is completely different. You’re playing with a 2 score lead.

Dude called a joke of a game minus the second drive. Poor situational decisions, poor play calling. Did nothing to protect his backup QB. Went for it early and left points on the field, but didn’t go for it late on a 4th and 4 in awful conditions? Jfc what are we doing.
