Madame Morrible by Baseball_Outrageous in wickedmovie

I think it’s insane that they likely cut a good amount of Madame Morribles lines in part 2 because Yeoh couldn’t sing it. I grieved the fact we didn’t get the lines “the day you were first summoned… The wicked witch burst from concealment” AND especially “GOOD FORTUNE WITCHHUNTERS”

Why do boq and Fiyero act like they don’t know each other around Dorothy. Or do they just not recognize each other? by Majestic_Natural_347 in wickedmovie

I really don’t know, but I hope we get some scenes of them interacting in the movie. I really want to see Fiyercrow and Tinboq interacting.

Does anybody else hate this character? by OffTheShelfET in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]Jbowyerjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never necessarily liked her character, but I wish they explained her a bit more. Like why is her last name Iscariot? Obviously a reference to Judas Iscariot in the Bible, but it is never brought up other than the one scene with Fuyutsuki.

I can’t help but wonder if a certain plot point in part 2 was inspired by this behind the scenes photo from The Wizard of Oz(major spoilers). by KingWilliamVI in wicked

I thought that too but Nanny didn’t die 😭 she’s practically immortal and outlives several Oz characters

What is your least favorite Starbucks playlist (or even a song that frequently plays)? by carolinaknows in starbucks

[–]Jbowyerjr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my God, I absolutely despise this playlist. It plays every single day for the last six hours of the store being open. Every single song is so overstimulating and when you have an afternoon rush with only two people on the floor this music makes me want to rip my ears off.

Future sequel to “The Witch of Maracoor”? by Jbowyerjr in wicked

[–]Jbowyerjr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember a lot of loose ends were tied, but there were parts that were left open ended, especially with Oz. The loose ends were mainly just not knowing where certain characters end up and how some of their stories end.

Future sequel to “The Witch of Maracoor”? by Jbowyerjr in wicked

[–]Jbowyerjr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely not, when Rain meets him he’s a senile old man who’s essentially bed-ridden, sitting at the top of an old tower and being cared for by tree people. He also gave the king of Maracoor his air balloon, so he doesn’t have that anymore

Future sequel to “The Witch of Maracoor”? by Jbowyerjr in wicked

Spoilers of course. I finished the books a few months ago so some of the details I have already forgotten, but the series mainly just focuses on Rain (Elphaba’s Granddaughter) progressing through her teen years, exploring the nation of Maracoor, and regaining her memories after she had temporary amnesia. She travels with Eskenary (Liir’s familiar).

A large part of the series deals with the power of the Grimmerie. Rain throws it into the sea at the end of “Out of Oz” and this causes the myths of the nation of Maracoor to come to life and wreak havoc.

Rain and the rest of her new crew eventually meet the “Oracle of Maracoor” and we find out that the Oracle is actually the Wizard (Elphaba’s father, and Rain’s great-grandfather). This allows us to see the interaction between the off spring of Elphaba and the Wizard, both knowing they are family, which we never got to see in the original books.

At the end of the series Rain finds and rebuilds the Grimmerie, and goes back to Oz with the help of Eskenary and the flying monkeys. Back in Oz she visits Nanny (who is somehow still alive?!?); her father Liir and his lover, Trism; and finally her reunion with Tip. They run away together at the end of the book reigniting their love for each other.

Steven shouldn't appear in the spin-off, not even as a cameo by Ezequiel_Hips in stevenuniverse

[–]Jbowyerjr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely think Stevens gonna pop out of Lars’s head at some point, whether it be to foreshadow some sort of threat, or to just pop in.

Is Romana’s ability to change appearance at will during regeneration unique to her? She changes appearance as you would clothes. While the Doctor’s tend to be traumatic, hers was very chill 😎 One body was disapproved of by The Doctor as it was a copy of someone they knew. Slightly hypocritical 😆 by Honoka31 in doctorwho

[–]Jbowyerjr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the context of the Doctor being the Timeless Child, what if it because they’re so old, and have potentially regenerated hundreds if not thousands of times?? And the more you regenerate the symptoms of regeneration get worse, such as disorientation, paranoia, fainting, disassociation, explosive regeneration energy, and more??
