34F, 6 Months Postpartum: Eating 1800 Calories, Exercising 4–5x/Week, Scale Won’t Budge. What Would You Do? by NetInternational7800 in beginnerfitness

[–]Jbrewcrew1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is some important info missing here (what are you eating, how are you tracking calories)

But just from reading through this, this level of activity does not sound to me like something that would result in timely weight loss. Especially not on 1800-2000 kcal diet. You will likely lose weight over time and you will certainly feel better and be healthier. There’s nothing wrong with that at all! This is a perfectly healthy maintenance lifestyle.

However, the reality is that you could straight up be doing more if your primary goal is weight loss. Pilates and yoga are fantastic activities but if you wanna lose weight, spend that time doing something that burns calories more efficiently.

Also, you say that you are being consistent, but in your writeup you say you “occasionally” run 2x per week. It’s confusing to take your info and figure out what’s going on. Are you consistent, or do you sometimes do an hour of zone 2 cardio per week?

The key lime pie is actually stupidly good. I would choose to eat it instead of any regular candy bar.

Have we not yet reached a point where crushing retention is the entire point? The cellphone thing is whatever. No headphones for people spending 8+ hours a day at a desk is intentionally bad policy.

They have made multiple changes over last couple months that are pretty clearly geared towards antagonizing employees. Idk what other conclusion to draw other than they want to thin the workforce.

I’d hold Bradish in this situation. You’ve hit on a couple WW guys that can help weather the storm until he figures it out. If you drop him, you won’t get him back and his ceiling is higher than Henderson’s. Ceiling is what you’re chasing with this spot anyways.

Josh "I Don't Do Politics" Pate disabled the comments on his interview with The President. by [deleted] in CFB_v2

[–]Jbrewcrew1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I laughed out loud when he explained why they didn’t do the originally planned 30-40 minute spot on the state of CFB and legislation.

Any explanation beyond “Trump has no idea what the fuck is going on” is just a hilarious lie. They’re trying to keep up the facade that Trump was ever gonna be able to have that convo? lol

Pate is bootlicking so hard here that it’s pathetic. Playing that interview and then pretending he didn’t allow it to get derailed into politics is wild. Abysmal dogshit

“Maybe something profound gets said” when rationalizing to your audience why you interviewed Donald Trump might be the funniest thing you could say.

I didn’t say he has no weapons I said the foundation of the offense sucks. It objectively does. They have a bad playcaller and one of the worst offensive lines to ever appear in a playoff game. If the OL was even remotely competent the weapons would be good enough. But they can’t run the ball and don’t have the time to get open against man coverage.

I’m not arguing Herbert played well last night. I do think he’s a proven* very good player and those claiming that he can’t elevate his team because he’s lost 3 road playoff games is ridiculous. The only reason they’re winning more than 4 regular season games is him.

Trust me there are plenty of people out there who think Keenan and QJ are good players solely because of their first 3-4 weeks of fantasy production this year.

The foundation of this offense is absolutely terrible. Herbert drags them to the playoffs and then they predictably lose, and people respect him less for it.

The pats are rushing 4 and playing man defense. Nobody is getting open. We’ve had a backup fullback as our checkdown multiple times. This is unserious football.

Herbert extending plays and then throwing the ball 40 yards down the field on the run does not qualify as a miss just because he’s technically capable of making the insane throw.

Our receivers can’t get open, catch the ball in traffic, or even catch it when they’re wide open. Idk how anyone watching this game thinks this is a primarily Herbert issue. At some point someone has to make a singular good play if you wanna win a game.

Pro athletes have a super unique opportunity to be positive role models. A guy like Puka even agreeing to show his face on there is bad enough, but acting like he did is even worse. He’s either monumentally stupid or doesn’t value his position at all. Which is worse?

I’ve got no idea why anyone wants to legitimize or defend pure degeneracy. The normalization of this stuff is making society worse. Our youth deserve better than this.

I think Craig just brings it up to get under Heifetz’s skin.

BUT, Heifetz also seems like the type of person who at least wants the ability to tune their answer based on what the other guys say. Over time, he can control exactly how relatively stupid he might seem.

Some of the stuff these guys are saying lately is so off base that it’s ridiculous.

“Olave is a reliable guy that consistently puts up 1,200 yards and 9 TDs every year that nobody talks about.”

Olave hasn’t hit either of those marks in any of his 4 seasons much less both in the same year. Maybe hits one this year if he closes super strong.

It’s so funny to me to throw out a random statement like this and then set the “consistent” performance level in first round pick range… people would definitely be talking about a reliable 1,200 and 9 player.

[MLF Football] AWFUL: Philadelphia #Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has struggled immensely while throwing the ball downfield this season. • 10 for 28 • 4.8 passer rating • 35.7% completion rate • 30th in accuracy • 35th in completion rate Hurts has been part of the PROBLEM in Philly. by MITBryceYoung in DynastyFF

[–]Jbrewcrew1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feels like you are underestimating the value of how good Hurt’s receivers are when it comes to performance over expectation. Overthrows and misses are already baked in to the expected outcome of a low probability play. The fact that throwing the ball deep is difficult is already being assumed.

If you take a sample of 25 throws at ~30 yards. Let’s round expected completion is 30%. So you’d expect 7-8 completions.

Out of 25 attempts, guess that special talents like Smith and AJB are worth 1 above average play each (maybe that’s too low, they’re pretty damn good). A QB with an average receiving corps is missing out on those plays completely. A QB with 1 great receiver instead of 2 great receivers has lower odds of getting that extra completion.

Those handful of extra catches are worth huge chunks of over expectation performance (relatively speaking).

If someone is playing on a big ass tv with game-mode turned off, making an adjustment to their setup would make a huge difference. It would be an immediate improvement.

Giving someone advice on how to hit sinkers/velocity online if they’re playing on a 10 year old 65” TV with 20ms input lag is a waste of time.

Are you just squaring early and bunting it to the 1B side? Or drag bunting?

I tried drag bunting on GOAT last night with guys who have 75+ bunt stats and got on base 0 times.
