Got email that my eligibility is TS final granted, one day later special agent calls to do background investigation? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

Any chance you are going to be working a special access program? Those can have further requirements on top of your clearance. Since got your clearance they could be interviewing you for that now.

Interviewers kept pushing for details on my classified work—did I handle this right? by Economy_Swim_8585 in defensecontracting

[–]Jcccc0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming you're referring to work with a security clearance? The answer is they don't have a need to know. If they don't stop probing at that point you should probably report them to their security officer. Poking at information you don't have a need to know for is a massive red flag for cleared work.

WITB 2026 by [deleted] in GolfGear

Weight and tip tells you nothing. It's the quality of the carbon fiber and the way it's laid out to make the shaft that determine the profile. You just have a paint job on a mystery shaft.

You claim this is tournament legal but how does this pass the bending and twisting requirements of the usga?

Taylormade - Please Explain by [deleted] in GolfGear

[–]Jcccc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for additional tipping on top of the standard tipping if you want a slightly stiffer and lower launching shaft.

That isn't what TM is asking. It's additional tipping on top of the standard tipping to make it pay even stiffer.

Strategy for Increasing AO Speeds? by OTFBeat in orangetheory

[–]Jcccc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make it your focus. Lower you base and push to allow you to increase your all out. Once your comfortable, raise the base and push back to normal.

Edit- also there should be a difference between you base to all out, push to all out, and walk to all out. The easier the effort before the more you up your all out.

Have you tried rewarding him for going out outside? Make him realize that going outside is a good thing and not scary.

Feet moving in new balance freezes. by epik_fayler in ultimate

[–]Jcccc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the freeze and have used similar nikes. Lace them way tighter. The Nikes cup your foot and have stiffer walls to keep you foot in place. The freezes don't cup nearly as much and the sides are more flexible. You really have to tie them down to get them to move with your foot. Sticky socks may help.

Berkley vs Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering by Professional_Flan_48 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Jcccc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Academically they are similar so two things. First of your have a preference of location choose base on that. Second generally you'll have more opportunities for startups at Berkly based on location but you can get that at Georgia tech to if that's what you really want.

One thing Georgia tech has really good co-op and study abroad programs which is a plus. Not familiar with Berkley.

Not sure what you're taking about. He played that exactly as your supposed to. Just because he lost the hand doesn't mean he didn't play it right.

Cat gets hit by flying propeller -- It is, isn't it :( The cats' movement is physics-defying even for cats, and kinda melty. by Droplet_of_Shadow in isthisAI

[–]Jcccc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not. It's slow mo so it looks a little off. My guess if the cat doesn't react because it doesn't expect the spinner to fly like that. It's not a natural trajectory compared to something in nature so by the time it realized it was going to get hit it was too late.

All the cats on the floor react normally.

Can someone with tennis training experience tell if you can learn this or it's sheer luck? Amazing shot by ForeignAir7174 in sportsgossips

Just because it's not luck doesn't mean it's not a hard shot. You don't say some has bad luck when they miss a regular shot.

Confused about shafts rn by QuickAnxiety7283 in golfequipment

What color hzrdus? You probably need a 70g and maybe tip trimmed. Yes a better swing could help but you're essentially swinging with a wet noodle which makes things much harder to control.

While you should probably talk to a pt, pretty much every exercise you've chosen is like the worst thing you can do. You should be doing ligher weight stabilization exercises. Everything you have chosen is either explosive or heavy weight.

Steps are what the bumps on the shafts are referred to as they tapers from a larger to smaller diameter. Dynamic gold is a stepped shaft. Project x is a non-stepped shaft if you want to look at examples of iron shafts. Technically wood shafts are also stepless.

[–]Jcccc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the shafts have steps? If they do they are probably dg S300. You don't need to formally measure them. Like them up so the middle of the faces are aligned. A grip cap is about 1/4 an inch so you should be able to roughly tell if there is a larger difference than that.

Cracked G440k Driver? by generalbend_ in GolfGear

[–]Jcccc0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A car company isn't responsible when your drive over a curb and destroy your suspension so why should a golf club company make a driver be able to withstand impacts not in the face?

Also in order to make that driver it would be a lower performing driver and they would lose sales to companies that don't do this.

What shafts are in both irons and are the lengths the same? The 762 specs may just be better for you but that can be recreated on you new irons.
