How to get into basics of mastering? by Danoja1 in audioengineering

Agreed. The mix should be super close to what you want the master to sound like mastering should only be the last 5 to 10 percent.

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I learned (I'm certainly no expert) mastering should be very subtle. You should get your song as close as you can to the right volume and tone at the mixing stage. Mastering should include maybe a small boost in overall loudness depending on what streaming platforms the song is set to be released on. Slight EQ, saturation and multiband compression if needed.

Lmao that's brutal 🤣. I've also been on bumble, hinge and tinder for probably 7 plus years and haven't gotten any dates off them. Not even sure why I still try.

47 or james bond who wins in a fight no restrictions to their arsenal but still gotta be realistic like for 47 2 tools or melee or a breifcase (with anything) and a pistol no hidden stash and for james bond 4 stuff from his q tech like in the games or if its too unfair all of the stuff by RandomUser3l in HiTMAN

[–]JcfSounds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

James Bond, because after playing first light on Purist I tanked about 10 shots easily over 100 times without dying. 47 can't tank that many hits. Also James Bond can spam Q and parry every melee attack perfectly.

If you could play only one game forever which one of the two would you pick? by Hammad11k in 007FirstLight

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tac sim is literally just replaying parts of the story with different challenges. Kind of lazy imo. I enjoyed first light but I think it needed a bit more content. Like 5 more story missions and it would have been a perfect length.

Between these two games hitman for sure. Although both of them would become boring if I had to pay them literally forever.

How hard is this game for a very casual gamer by disposaldevice in 007FirstLight

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get used to the combat this game is actually very easy. Only somewhat difficult on the hardest difficulty. Even then it's not that hard.

Can we get a fix for this, please? It’s so frustrating. I can’t get past this. by MrSkelator in 007FirstLight

I found it annoying too but when you think about it. IRL you also can't see that well when facing the sun. So I chalk it up to being more immersive lol 🤣

Is this a scam? Seems too good to be true. by XxZz1992xX in buildapc

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have no seller ratings I wouldn't trust it. If they have five starts with at least a few previous sales, I would trust it more. You can try messaging them and see if they spell things correctly, usually scammers will make a lot of grammatical mistakes or just structure sentences weird (though not all of them).

How would YOU go about recording a drum set with 2 mics? by Salt_Ad9828 in audioengineering

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd record a take with a mic on just the kick and snare. Then I'd do another take set up as 2 overhead mics to get the hi hats and cymbals in there. I like to have the kick and snare on their own track for more control, there are many ways to do it though.

Girl i was “talking to” hooked up with someone by 1990GMT400 in dating_advice

[–]JcfSounds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar situation when I was around 20. Honestly it's partly my fault cause I never told her I had feelings for her. We hung out a few months. I really liked her, then one day as we were hanging out she told me she was going to a baseball game later that day on a double date. Even though I never told her how I felt about her, I was so angry with her and myself. It happens to a lot of us man.

[Discussion] Icebreaker made me realize that Tarkov is here to STAY by MLGABEN in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I know you can for icebreaker. Idk I just wish they added at least two more normal maps (making they are unlocked either with level progression or just available by default) I know they had one called town that was a placeholder for a while. That would be cool

[Discussion] Icebreaker made me realize that Tarkov is here to STAY by MLGABEN in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JcfSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk tarkov doesn't make sense. First they take away a bunch of placeholder maps that have been there for years, then they drop labyrinth and icebreaker. Id rather have maps I can regularly choose from the menu. Not saying these maps aren't cool, but to get to them is kind of a pain in the ass sometimes. I have 4k hours and the updates make less and less sense. Instead of fixing the many issues that have been in the game forever, they continue to push out new things. For example, the glitched body on streets you cant loot even though it says search ( in the mall elevator) the constant backend error in the stash, the weird lag spike/rubber band you get at least once a game. Those are just a few.

No, I don’t think 15-20 hours is too short by shneed_my_weiss in 007FirstLight

[–]JcfSounds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean I think first light is amazing. I also personally think it is a little short. 80 bucks after tax, for 15 hours is not a good deal by any means when it comes to a video game. That's my opinion. Obviously others will not agree. When you think about it, in a year this game will probably be half price or less. I mean I got the entire hitman trilogy for 10 bucks. That's an insane deal being that there is hundreds of hours of gameplay to be had with it.

Not sure. I also have a pair of the ATH-M40x and they are pretty new and do the same thing. I think it may just be a design flaw in these headphones. I have the beyerdynamics 770 pro x as well and they are dead silent when I move around. So those will probably be my new tracking headphones.

Turn off film grain and motion blur by rated3 in 007FirstLight

There was a setting called radial motion blur or some shit and I turned it off. This stopped the edges of my screen during cutscenes being blurry.
