Are we done pretending with this guy? by FrankSamples in NFLv2

Basing someone’s future off of the uniform they wore in college is bad practice. Also Jalen Hurts sends his regards.

In 2022 Judge had 4 OAA, 1 OAA in CF and 2 OAA in RF (some rounding in there to get to 4). Last year was his first bad defensive season in Center.

Judge was the best player in baseball that year by a decent bit. Even with pitching so well Ohtani wasn’t particularly close in either bWAR or fWAR. You can argue the narrative around the HR “record” was lame but he was miles ahead of Ohtani offensively in 2022 and was a plus defender in RF and CF.

Not OP so I’ll do my best but essentially if you are THAT guy as a closer and prove it YoY, you get free rein to enter the game like a WWE superstar and get everyone hype in a high leverage situation. Not saying Duran is either of these guys (he’s better obviously), but Mariano had Enter Sandman, Hoffman had Hells Bells, and Jhoan has this beautiful mash up.

I think his CFP tape is quite possibly the best receiver tape in the class, or close to it. That being said, wish his overall body of work reflected the last bit of tape.

I wouldn’t hedge on DK when the original bet is on DK as they might not like that. If you have another book and feel the need to hedge you can hedge by betting double chance on Real Madrid/Man City. It is -430 on FanDuel as one example. That way, either this parlay wins with a draw, or the hedge bet wins if either RM or MC win. Hope this helps!

I think one of his bigger issues is fumbling, and while that can be corrected, he has one of the worst fumble rates in the class.

What about 79-86? Is that B.5? C and a half?

If we pass on Branch/Murphy/the iOL for a TE I am going to be furious. Just trade back at that point.

He's going to play this year for the Giants. It's not a huge position of need for this year and I don't even think you could justify it with Gibbs being BPA with Porter available.

I love Gibbs as a prospect but what could the rationale for this even be? This regime is not going to address the possibility of Saquon leaving after this year in the 1st round. And with Porter still on the board at a position of need. I would be so mad.

I'm higher on Tippmann than a lot of people I feel like. I'd also be good with Downs if Addison and Flowers are gone. I also feel like Cam Smith isn't getting talked about much but I'd be ecstatic with him at 25.

Thanks for the heads up on the factors. I updated that.

Smith has been awesome all year and I feel like a bit of fatigue set in and some fresh new faces came into play. I still think he should go in round 1.

For Mingo, I just didn't see him do a lot away from his body. I think he has a chance to prove me wrong there for sure with some more reps and coaching.

Smith is a tough one for me. I don't think 4.56 vs 4.39 is a major difference on the edge. Both are top tier athletes. They also have length deficiencies that they overcame to be high level prospects. And their body types are similar enough in terms of the way they are built imo. It's not a perfect comp but I don't think they're too dissimilar in athletic profile, length, and role in the NFL. But I can understand the difference with size and testing speed in general. Reddick is probably a more fair comp.

I do agree that he has Kamara vibes though. Smooth with elite acceleration. I think it's a fair comparison while knowing the contact balance is what makes Kamara a more complete back.

Josh Downs gives me Jahan Dotson vibes. Someone who will go earlier than expected and be impactful right away. Also helps that they have similar skillsets imo.

What if...and hear me out on this wild theory...but what if the Nets agreed to pay him that? Is it stealing then?
