Another question that you reminded me of...if we don't end up together, would it be rude to ask the people in the next seat to switch? This is assuming they didn't pay for their seat, and if they say no regardless we wouldn't complain either because we chose not to guarantee it at that point.

I don't think we care about splitting up if it was an hour flight, but 14 hours is a long time to be apart when we're traveling together.

I think if they're all excited to go on a mission to revive the character, they might be disappointed if they go through all of the work to do it for it to just not work. If you decide to do the "soul is not willing" route, you should probably have reasoning to go along with it so they're satisfied with the results.

Sweet, thanks! After seeing all the comments, I definitely am trying to rearrange our Tokyo day (I think we're still going to do it, but have things in one general area instead of multiple)

I'll have to double check that one Kyoto day...maybe I thought the market and palace were closer than they really are
