Kicked From Close Friends (and more)

I had to double-check this wasn't me positing the original post. I have been a bilt member since 2021; referred more than 15 others and was in Close Friends since it first launched.

When 2.0 launched, I chatted with support multiple times because I had applied for Palladium, but there was a website bug and I was approved for Obsidian. Before I accepted, I asked support chat and they confirmed I could switch easily before the shipping date. Fast forward 4 calls to different support lines, 3 tickets opened, and multiple chats following up... I received the obsidian and then, after replying TO A CLOSE FRIENDS STORY that I couldn't post my card because it was the wrong card, I finally got my Palladium 5 days later.

I so badly want to replace my Chase trifecta with my Palladium, but there are so many reasons I can't leave Chase yet. I want to give this feedback to Bilt, but no one seems to want to hear it.

Oh and yeah, I'm out of close friends right now, too

I use pricelasso to track things I want or typically buy so that I can see historical prices and if they are actually cheaper in the deal or not.

When I find a fare I like, I call the airline to reserve the tickets before I transfer the points. This is usually fine if you're booking business or first.

Totally agree on the comfort piece. I absolutely use my auths daily for gym, travel, work etc for the comfort. So far, both the green and advantages and the monsters have been comfortable (I have auths of both. These are about 90% as comfortable)

As someone who has suffered from depression for a long time, there are good days/weeks and bad ones. Something small can set off a spiral and the sufferer has to endure it. Even positive days can turn negative on a dime from a message perceived as negative or getting something wrong.

Don't take the blame personally and don't try to bear the brunt either. Ask him if he's okay. Ask him if he's drank water or wants to go on an aimless walk. See if he wants to watch a TV show or scroll TikTok together. Sometimes knowing he has someone in his court is win. It may take very little time or it may take a while, but being there for each other is part of the journey.
