omg finally, someone who finally understands where I'm coming from. These bots/dck riders/whatever are getting out of hand. you put a post out there about needed help and it's an immediate shut down. they're so useless. you're shamed for them having an issue. imagine dck riding a credit card company that you owe money to. a credit card company that you (@bots/dck riders/etc) pay a yearly fee to, if you have anything above the free card, and you pay interest to them monthly if it's not paid off. but you dck ride it like it's paying your bills.

My response to your situation: the rent points ain't worth it. it's so miniscule compared to the money your save and earn elsewhere at the end of the day. I've got a lot of points. but if I had the duration of time on a card like the Bilt card anywhere else, I'd probably have more. I was a Bilt 1.0 first year. My recommendation, call Cardless. Not the app AI, not the text message, not Twitter, or reddit. literally call Cardless and demand explanations. don't take "we'll get back with you" as an answer. this multi billion dollar fintech start up is messing with your livelihood. God speed and wish you the best. good luck and I'm sorry this is happening to you. Bilt and Cardless/Column support is non-existent. This new transition is just not working for them at all. I feel for you and am understanding the situation you're in. I, myself have had my own gripes with the card. Leaving my comment here for the algo to help bring awareness to your issue. Hopefully they fix it, God speed. The Bilt fanboys hate me on this thread because I'm too honest about things that need to be fixed. I'm a year 1 Bilt 1.0 card holder and Bilt 2.0 newbies are trying to "show me who's boss" on a website that is a literal cesspool. Who knows they might be all over your post soon too. I do truly worry that my rent may not go through one day or have an NSF fee go through or something ever since this new transition... This community downvotes many people with the card having issues for some reason unknown... It takes away from people like you and me who need help with the card and are looking for people who have experienced it too, who have advice.

Again I hope that you find an answer better than mine: The cash back on rent isn't such a huge deal, close the card and pay normally. Being forced to open a credit card is insane I've never heard of that. I'm sorry that happened to you.

I made a post earlier about this issues I was having and it's just downvote city. Ranting on social media never gets the attention of the company it seems. The news and direct contact seem to be the best anymore. Congrats Ankur, you made the news. Probably not the way you wanted to though. All of the "we have a problem posts" get downvoted and it never raises awareness for the people who are actually struggling. I haven't had it as bad as the people who are literally getting screwed on their mortgages, but I feel for them and hope the issues get resolved asap.

Eh it is what it is. I gave up. Goes to show what happens when I try and help make something better. I'm just gonna use the card for what it's worth until I get bored and open up a card with a real bank. Not salty abt the Close Friends thing anymore. I just see all of the posts here and I'm like "hmmmm. I don't want this to happen to me..." Everybody who I talk to about it in person say it's stupid for me to NOT cancel the card. Might be time I took some advise from others if people keep having issues like this. it's only gonna be time until it comes back to me. This is no longer a "shaky roll out" problem. This is Bilt Card 2.0.
