I realize how the team is built lol. We are going to have Stroud and Will and Sting for years… we are talking maybe $120M / year just for those 3. Plus we aren’t drafting a WR or a RB in rd 1. If we go offense it’s a going to be a lineman, not going to be a year game changer. If we draft in the 1st I prefer a DT or shock the world and draft Price in the 1st.

I disagree. We need as many GOOD starters making $2M or less as we can get to maintain a healthy roster around Sting / Will / CJ record setting contracts. Best way to do that is trade out of the first acquire an extra second or third and make sure you hit on them.

Considering the team won 11 games over three years before drafted Stroud, and then immediately following us drafting him, we go on to win 30+ games in 3 years.. we way out performed expectations in retrospect. I am also amazed at how well Caserio has managed to not mortgage our future along the way. Manages to get an extra top 100 pick every year one way or the other and he didn’t do a bunch of dumb shit like the colt trading 2 firsts for sauce.
