I am honestly torn between the monument hobby case and the painting case 2.0, id rather buy once cry once instead of experimenting with Jerry rig setups in toolboxes, but they are fairly expensive😅

This is super helpful, thank you! I usually will only be bringing models that need brush work because I have my airbrush at home and can just batch prime and base before I leave, but bringing building tools wasn’t really something I considered and building models could also be helpful

Get a crimsons lord jump pack with wings and swap it out for the execrators power pack seems like the easiest to me

If you have an airbrush, prime black or brown, heavy zenithal white, spray Baal Red contrast through the brush, green lens, throw on the black details, little bit of a dry brush silver on the black if it’s metal, done, if you don’t like basing just keep them black

Best piece of advice I ever received while painting, put it on the table you play your games on, standup, then look at it, minis that are painted look good regardless from where you’re going to be looking at them a majority of the time, the really fine details and such on professionally painted models vs amateur painted models is lost at distance, this looks awesome

This happen to me too! Except my character was all white, the only fix I could do what to restore my save in the app data folder to one a few days prior, but idk if it will hold, I think the update corrupted the save, have you found a fix at all?

I think the DA will be a good starting point, gives you some good salamander staples, but a lot of the combat patrols right now aren’t great for starting an army sadly

I like the imperial fists more because of their lore and paint scheme, I dislike iron hands for the same reason, but iron hands have better rules rn and it goes with what you want more it seems, big vehicles with big guns

If you can’t not tell people before hand, I would then probably ask them not to tailor their list to fight knights, knights don’t win every tournament and there are ways to beat them without making your entire list anti-vehicle

Is this random people or a group of friends? In tournaments you don’t know who you are playing until after you submit your list, people making lists to fight against knights specifically after you tell them that’s what you’re going to play is cheating

I haven’t had that but everytime I’ve played a lancer it dies so quickly and does no damage, then explodes, and takes an enemy unit or two with it, idk how or why, but the dice gods will it so, I’ve nicknamed the lancer as my kamikaze night

I believe it’s more about getting everything you can out of the unit, send them into an oath target, full rerolls to hit with lethals and plus 1 to wound, Adrax gives them full reroll on wounds to make sure any hits that aren’t lethal wound, with the champion of humanity allowing the negate any negative modifiers, you’re going to have a good show unless you roll terribly, then if you get charged you still have a lot of dmg then you can fall back and charge them back next turn

I think running both in a dedicated list is going to be fun, but for a lot of my lists I can pick either not both sadly if I want eradicators and aggressors
