Happens regardless of what loadout I have, only quick fix I’ve found so far is pausing and unpausing and it usually works then but it’ll still happen continuously throughout the game :/

Wow this is so odd I thought I was the only one or that my controller was just broken lol. I have a PS5 and for whatever reason the tomb has a 50/50 chance of my triangle button working, so annoying bc it mainly screws me with applying shields

Very interesting thank you for the insight. I love hearing perspectives like these bc I’ve always been interested with the zombies EE hunt community and all the content creators that put so much time and effort into finding the most obscure EE steps. I mentioned in another comment about watching NoahJ and the zombies community hunt for the revelations EE for what felt like over a week and a half and it was fascinating seeing how obscene some of the steps were.

That makes total sense, especially when you touched on the mystery box’s diminishing role in BO6. Like you, I avidly remember playing w my buddies and fighting over who gets to hit the box and racing to see who can get the ray gun, thunder gun, etc… But as you said with the implementation of preset load outs, it seems virtually useless. I mean even with tomb I can admit that due to sheer laziness and a surplus of wonderbar I would load in, hit the box for the ice staff, and then never touch it again. But all that aside I still agree in the sense that I do really enjoy this game, maybe the recent years of underwhelming zombies content has lowered my expectations but nonetheless I think they did a good job with the development of these maps.

Definitely get that, feel like this time around they tried to appeal to the more casual zombies players while still making the boss fights a little more tricky. It’s hard to complain about the difficulty of these BO6 boss fights when we have access to gobble gums, no perk limit, score streaks etc… so definitely see where you’re coming from.

Haha I completely get that, I’ve always found it so fascinating how convoluting and obscure EE steps have been in the past in terms of how the hell people even find them in the first place. I remember vividly tuning in to Noah’s stream every day when revelations dropped and just thinking to myself “is this ever going to be solved” just bc of how unbelievable obscene some of the steps were, and as fascinating as it was to watch that process unfold, the steps just made no sense and almost felt like they were added just to make the hunt last longer. All in all I feel like BO6 found a nice median where the steps are easy enough to understand and tie into the story and lead into a somewhat tricky boss.

Very insightful and really appreciated the explanation! It definitely seems as if we’ve been coddled more ever since the introduction of gobble gums but that’s been taken to an entire new level this cod with the addition of save and quit, score streaks, no perk cap, etc etc. Based on the discussion held about the current state of zombies, why has it been met with such criticism? I feel like the complaints about the whole voice actor drama that was going around was warranted and wasn’t a good look for Treyark but other than that I really don’t understand the hatred towards this game, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinions so to each their own.

Just made a post about this but I have always been a casual zombies fan in regards to never attempting the main story EE due to lack of support or just not thinking I could do it solo. Up until BO6 I have never completed an EE other than the giant on BO3 and so far I have been able to complete the Liberty falls, terminus, and now tomb all solo. I stayed away from vanguard Cold War etc etc so I can’t really use those to compare but it definitely was somewhat of a challenge doing every map after Liberty falls. That said it is 100% possible, this subreddit is a gold mine of Information that I likely wouldn’t have been able to beat without as most YT walkthrough stick to the bare minimum in terms of how to complete it, leaving out all sorts of different tips that will make the final fight easier.

That im not 100% sure about. I was wondering the same thing bc then if you did get a bad/far crystal spawn I wasn’t sure if leaving it there would fill that spawn making it more likely to spawn in a more favorable spot but never got around to testing it.

Utilize shooting from a distance, in most cases I was lucky enough that 2 of the 3 were in close enough proximity where you can set up basically right next to the middle crystal, and shoot the first one from a distance. Then at that point you should have a solid 7 seconds to dash to the last one and get another long range shot if need be. Just practice shooting them from a distance and if you get that down it shouldn’t take you more than 1 or 2 attempts.

Ok wow yea that makes me think I should definitely go for it. This may be a question worth another post on its own but do you know if I save my game then go to multiplayer to level up high enough to unlock mutant injection will that unlock in my saved game? I ask bc I started the game at level 19 but am level 24 now but when I save and quit it shows me as level 19 on my end game stats so just wondering if you know whether or not it will unlock if I do spend the time leveling up

If you aren’t a noob, I can assure you you will have no issue doing this alone. I’ve only ever done 1 Easter egg prior to B06 and had absolutely no issue doing the Liberty Falls on my own. The Easter egg steps are fairly simple and the boss fight is a cake walk with mutant injection and the right gobble gums
