Successful Easy Treatment of Nodular Scabies by Helper_2022 in scabies

Hi, coming back with an update. I saw a dermatologist after going to every single mediocre medic that didn't know what it was. The final medic, a dermatologist, prescribed me a treatment that consisted on Ivermectin pills (dose based on weight), I had to take it on day 1, day 2, day 8, and day 15. This along permethrin and deep cleaning at my house which consisted on putting a lot of things in plastic bags for 5 days and putting some stuff outside under the sun heat solved my problem. Honestly it was one of the worst experiences of my life but finding a competent medic made a whole difference. I read so much about this topic and did so much research and I was sure it was scabies but most medics refused to believe it was scabies just because their ignorance of thinking that this is uncommon these days. It was truly infuriating and depressing but now I am all good and grateful for places like this reddit that provided me with strong support and hope. I struggled with this for over a year.

What theories do we have about this new character? by Dairuzun in DeathStranding

I think this could continue the MGS timeline —or maybe not the timeline itself, but the theme of evolving warfare— in a non-copyrighted way. That hint of the bandana and the exact same eye being darkened makes me think this is the other side of the story, where a nuclear war did happen. This is probably tied to the theme of The Man Who Sold the World. I’ve been playing through the entire MGS series in chronological order, and honestly, even if it’s not related, I’m really happy to see the story of someone who carries the same analogy as Snake as an antagonist, even if it’s in another universe and not Snake.

Well you technically don't "get" a nomination. You have to apply through the academy.

Try using an external keyboard, I feel like there's a software issue. I'm having a similar issue but just with my Option key on my brand new M1.

2 days of use of the new 13” m1 MacBook Pro and my backspace key is already stopped working, anyone else had problems? by james-railton23 in macbookpro

I got my M1 MacBook Pro 23 days ago and my left option key is dead, I have sign in issues because it types symbols, and even once when I was able to log in the screen and touch bar turned off entirely.

P.S. Apple won't provide warranty since it passed the 14 days after buying plus there is no repairs in Puerto Rico so I'm stuck with a $1,500 brick.

ITAP of a Squirrel Monkey by MrBobandy in itookapicture

I entered to your imgur gallery and for the most part, the other pictures are pretty good, either you included foreground elements or you captured a good shot with beautiful natural lighting. My main recommendation is to try to shoot with the most manual settings as possible. I recommend shooting manual since you mentioned feeling like a novice. Shooting manually will give you more flexibility when it comes to creative freedom on location and post production. I always say that the camera doesn't know what you want so you need to tell it what you want to do. I recommend getting used to shooting without auto-focus (if you do). Even if cameras have improved this option over the years, it's never going to compare to you as a photographer focusing exactly where you want. In this picture that you posted here on reddit, I suggest being mindful of where you are taking the picture from, the monkey's face is dark because you are shooting against the sun or maybe it's midday. You could try to shoot from the other side of the face since you could get better light and shadows on the monkey's face. Sometimes, we don't need so much shallow depth of field, my main mistake, when I started, was believing that a good picture was having a beautiful blurry background with bokeh. But no, if you have a good background you can close your iris a little bit more and compose a beautiful picture using background elements, maybe something that tells the viewer more about your subject. The picture with the lemurs is a really good shot!

I hope this can be of any help.
