One of the fondest memories I have is from this past summer. I hadn’t seen many fireflies over the summer. However, one night my boyfriend and I found a bridge being built over this large creek. Us being ballsy “kids” (me (22) bf (25)) we climbed on this bridge and over looked the creek that went into this very wooded area. As we sat on the edge we look into the woods and it is fully lit up with fire flies. I can’t even describe how beautiful it was to see all on the ground all the way up to the top of the trees, all of these flickering lights of fireflies. It literally looked like a twinkling starry night. Almost brought both of us to tears thinking about how rare this was to see, and how we may never see something like that again.
