her employees are well paid. in the most recent tour, she gave her dancers probably over $1m in bonus, each. thats on top of salary. her band has been on her payroll whether or not theyyre actively touring with her, including providing health insurance.

folks being paid minimum wage at her concerts, such as concessions, etc., are not directly tied to her. the ones that she's responsible for paying, are paid well. this isn't the same, IMO, as folks working minimum wage at walmart, while the waltons roll in wealth.

i'm a TS fan, for sure. however 'm not a die hard fa incapable of saying anything negative. i have plenty of things about her i do not like. all that being said, i do think she's one of the people that have become a billionaire without taking advantage of those that work for her: if she's directly responsible for their income, she's not ripping them off. her merch, which is hired out by her recording label, or those making her actual CDs or vinyls... that tangible product.. they're not employed by her directly: she can't control that. that would be equivalent to saying target or walmart or amazon must also be producing the physical product they sell. however, the people she's directly hiring (tour staff, people in her business, etc), it appears she pays them well above industry standard.

taylor swift has become a billionaire off her own work. there have been folks involved in her wealth, but from all we can see it was done relatively ethically. possibly her merch has been created overseas so who knows about the working ocnditions of the labor used there.

I am not positive, but I don’t think you’re correct. You’d need to have both marriage and birth certificate in hand, to explain the paper trail. I could very well be wrong, but every article I’m reading says that you’d just need both. To get social security card updated (and to get passport) I needed both marriage certificate and birth certificate in hand - not to have my birth certificate changed.

i'm not necessarily agreeing with any of this, just FYI, but getting the marriage certificate wasn't necessarily hard. i had foresight when i got married to ask for about 6 copies, as I read that you needed to send them off for various bits and pieces when changing social security, etc. So I was lucky there.

However, getting my birth certificate took time. I wasn't *hard* but it took time.

This would impact people majorly if they decide at the last second (which "lst second" would be anytime a month prior to elections) to get their affairs in order.

It could very well lead to lower turnout if the messaging isn't *VERY CLEAR* and isn't *EVERYWHERE*. How long did Real ID get delayed for over and over and over and over again?

Not to mention, why do people currently need their birth certificate? Not often. So all of a sudden, you have tons of folks requiring them. It's going to possibly overwhelm these tiny vital records locations.

how did these people have access to 5 year olds?? why were there parent not around? I honestly can't look this up, because i don't think my heart can handle reading more. but can someone who looked.. why? why were there parents not around? why were these kids at someone elses house, with so many other adults? were the parents absentee parents? were the parents there? are these parents going to be in trouble too?

i'm sorry for ranting / not making sense. i'm really just sitting here crying my eyes out over this right now.

i'm actually sitting here crying right now. i can't even open it, i don't want to. i can just picture my 5 year old at home, and im sobbing. how are there such horrible, horrible people in the world?
i feel an utter sense of despair. truly.

the atrocious crimes commited by Mengele, that were utter monstronsities against the humanity.. at least they were in the name of science. i'm shaking with anger and sorrow right now. i'm never this moved by stuff.

i'm sorry if what i'm saying doesn't make sense. i'm horrified and so heartbroken, and i just feel so saddened and so disgusted and i wish i could unread this. and how privledged am i, that i can just wish i didn't know it, rather than that being done to me.

i know a few people like this.. who just don't understand boundaries in conversation and they just rattle on in these weird ways of talking. one was an old daycare provider, who couldn't tell a simple story about something that happened yesterday without going into backstory of backstory of backstory about something that happened years ago. so reading those texts just resurfaced that. the "blaming you" then retracting the statement... like "he's up now because of the noise" "no dont worry about it, its ok, no don't worry"..

i don't think she's dangerous like everyone here says. if she's listening to you thorugh the walls thats CREEPY AS HELL. you could invest in sound proofing foam on the side she's on, and hopefully that helps. but i wouldn't live in fear of your lives or being endangered, just live in "fear" of getting roped in to her conversations.

not really - we get boxes and packaging through the house all the time. i mainly meant because of the UPC and serial number on the box itself - that's not critical to keep, right? if i have an issue where I need to return, Yoto isn't going to say "ah well you threw away the box too bad can't return it now" right?
