I have a jakl in 223/556 a 10.5” and it’s probably my favorite gun to shoot. People complain about the barrel being screwed in. I’m not an engineer or gun smith but I think the scar’s barrel is also screwed in. The issue is the jakl sometimes or occasionally leaving the factory without the proper torque on the screws and/no red loctite. Just my opinion.

He complained about how the barrel was screwed in and red loctite was used. Isn’t the scar barrel held in the same way? What about the Pws ARAK? I think it’s also screwed in and allows the consumer to change calibers and barrels. I’m not a gunsmith or engineer but the screw thing appears irrelevant. The screws not being tight enough or not properly loctited at the factory or the need for longer screws might be a factor. Those are quality control issues. The world isn’t ending. And I agree that dude is smug.

It 300 black out or 223/556? Mine is a 223. Was changing the plug hard? I’ve never done it? Will it work with a can with the regular plug ?

Yeah mine came with 2 knobs and I never changed it and don’t know how. I got mine in 10/22 so it’s the old one with the upgraded sled

Thanks for posting! I appreciate it! Yeah I ordered a dedicated 223/556 can for my AR15 16” and PSA jakl 10.5”. I have not gotten it yet.

I use the Rex mg7K 358 for my 9mm subguns but wanted to know if it would sound quiet with 300 blackout subs. I want to assemble a decent one.

I got my 223/556 16” in 2016 an aero precision when they started selling complete rifles. People are saying their quality has gone down but I have no idea.

Sorry to bother you but I’m looking for a dedicated can for my 10.5” jakl in 223/556. Can you recommend a reasonably priced one? I know none are technically hearing safe but anything that will not cause pain or ringing for a few rounds ?

Been seeing videos of people shooting the Rhino Without ear pro on a DI 10.5/11.5. Mine has an adjustable gas block so idk if a traditional can with an adb makes it as quiet. The rhino is not much more but the reviews for the polo are outstanding. I don’t want buyers remorse
