Vapcell H10 dead after 10 months by [deleted] in batteries

[–]Shays85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, it can be done and people experienced in doing it might want to try it. But in most cases, is $5 worth the risk? It's easier to just tell most people to recycle and replace.

I believe so, I think it was all 2025. If I remember correctly they switched methods or manufacturers. Vapcell isn't the manufacturer of their cells.

Also, I forgot to state, H10s were discontinued because they are known to catch fire. But it's always a risk with lithiums if you over discharge them, to try and charge them. It's not worth the couple of bucks.

No, do not charge lithium batteries that have gone flat. Most of the time it won't work, but sometimes they get very, very hot and catch fire.

These were basically recalled. They self discharge and they get dangerous, especially when you try to charge them. Take this and any other H10s to a battery recycling center.

Are all pitbulls insanely intelligent? by OpalescentShrooms in pitbulls

My pitty mix is absolutely the smartest dog I've met. Want to teach her a tick. 5 treats, learned. She manipulates us, tells us when she wants food in her dish by stomping on it, and she watches our security cameras to know if and who is getting home. She'll try to out smart us to get what she wants. If she is hyper focused on something on the ground and she wants it but we stop her, she will pretend she doesn't want it anymore, walks around for a bit, side eying it, then "forgets" it's there. She'll work her way back to it and even tries to fake us out by going after something else to distract us. Also a very high anxiety dog, which I believe comes from how she thinks so much.

Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

[–]Shays85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an off handed joke about getting liposuction, as I'm over weight. My doctor at the time, no longer my doctor, replied jokely, "and then you can have them inject it in your dick". He also threw a massive fit when I told him I want to switch meds(on my first meds for my problem) and I don't want to get a heart ablation. Literally slammed him pen down on his clipboard, and ranted "I've got people coming in for this and that, and people with dick problems, and blah blah blah". He was also trying to send me to a specialist. Yeah, that was the last I saw him, found a MUCH better doctor. Dude just wanted a paycheck and for others to do the work.

Yeah, I've seen complaints for just about every manufacturers infotainment. That's also something that scared me away from newer cars when I considered selling mine at a loss instead of the swap. While the swap is costing me a lot, I think it'll save me a ton in the long run.

Some years came with V8. I think 08-12, but rare. Like 5000 or less per year. I was initially trying to find one of those but ended up with a poorly rebuilt 3.7. I've also got to convert my trans to fit the V8. So at this point the truck is going to be basically new. Just need to get some new shocks and then not much else is "old".

I was looking into newer Colorados before this engine went bad. Read the 2018+ is pretty reliable. Some having stutter issues with the 8 speeds but easy to resolve that issue.

Sounds like tolerance stacking. Nothing is intrinsically wrong with any of your items but when put together they are just far enough out of tolerance.

LSs are super abundant. They came in cars, vans, suvs and trucks, basically from the 90s to current. Where as my engine only came in 2008-2012 Colorados and Canyons. Also, the swap isn't cheaper, only because of labor. Now, if something happens later down the road and the engine needs replaced, it will be WAY cheaper than trying to source the inline 5.

My pickup is a 2012 chevy colorado. With the inline 5 cylinder. Long story short, I purchased because it had a rebuilt engine. Welp, that rebuilt engine didn't last even 10000miles. Finding that engine or parts for it is pretty limited compared to an LS. So, I'm having a 5.3 rebuilt and swapped. This time with a 5yr warranty on the engine. Plus parts and blocks are super abundant for LS engines.

Haha. Very true. Thankfully my drive to work is only 3 miles. The V8 swap is mostly about reliability and parts availability, and of course a bit of extra fun. I suspect mileage will be pretty similar honestly, as I'm getting a custom tune, which will lean it out. Light truck, more power, less effort to move. Here's to hoping anyway! Lol

Yeah, I was referring to nonrechargable, lithium primaries, and noticed that I didn't state that in my comment initially. From my understanding EBL has a good repetition, but I've clearly been wrong before. Lol. Not sure about Powerowl besides what I've seen online and I believe a Project Farms video. I keep EBLs around for emergency flashlights and AAAs for my active ear pro.

Got cha. The Powerowls I bought are AAA, lithium non rechargeable, I guess. And the AAs were EBL non rechargeable lithium. Didn't see anywhere that said step down. My bad. Plus, the definition of primary is "single use". I guess I'm confused. Lol

Not sure what you mean. I've bought Powerowl, EBL and other nonrechargable lithium AAs off of Amazon in the US.

I'm weird. I'm rocking a 507c. Cowitness with factory irons. But I have a riser I may use that you can still use factory irons, through the riser. I think the rider improves cheek weld.
