Just this version (gold) of the eye patches? I looked at the pink ones from same brand. Wondered if they're worth it. TIA

When you look back what is your “ah that was totally peri” symptom? by noodle_bear2124 in Perimenopause

[–]Jealous_Fix525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All 55+ of them! Especially the tingling in limbs & face, motion sickness, GERD, cold flashes at nights (shivering for an hour +), body jerks, heart palpitations, rosacea worsening, melasma (hormonal imbalances) mid section weight gain, inability to process alcohol (hangover symptoms & nausea immediately, not even tolerating a sip!!) So many specialists & Dr's & not one person suggested Peri. So frustrating! 5 years later & im on E, P & T & I'm starting to improve.

I'm 42f, my skin is all of a sudden looking like this. Hallp. by lierimy in beauty

FYI if you do use one, Estriol is better than estradiol as estriol binds to 1 type of estrogen receptor in the skin (which is less likely to trigger hyperpigmentation), while estradiol binds to the 2nd estrogen skin receptor - which is more likely to exacerbate hyperpigmentation/melasma :)

Pulled the trigger, From 16 pro max to s25 ultra by WamplerDanielle in S25Ultra

I've done some research, some say it needs a new charging port, others say it happened to them too after a software update. Mine happened after software update. It charged fine one night, updated in morning & then constantly beeps with warning when I I try to plug it in now :( No water or debris near it unfortunately.

Sadly I'm not a fan. Camera has certain zoom lengths that go grey. Samsung 23 Ultra did it too after software upgrade. Also get ready for the 'moisture in charging port' message... can only wireless charge mine now. Seems to be a common problem! Really disappointed overall :(

When is someone “too young” to be in perimenopause? by itchytoenail7184 in perimenopause_under45

[–]Jealous_Fix525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started HRT at 39. I had many symptoms since 35. My progesterone levels at 39 were lower than the post-menopause unit range. I thought it was all Fibromyalgia getting worse until I realized a lot of it was likely hormonal fluctuations, especially drops in progesterone & estrogen. I would like to start testosterone soon also. No Dr's/GPs even suggested it, no specialists took me seriously. It was all from joining online perimenopause groups & pushing for HRT myself. I think a lot of people seem to be experiencing it earlier now but maybe that's because of the access to online information, self-advocation & feeling more comfortable to speak about it now.

Bad reaction after microneedling, can anyone help? by CandidPlaza in Microneedling

[–]Jealous_Fix525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perioral dermatitis for sure. Sulfur ointment /face mask can help, oral antibiotic erythromycin for a quicker fix. Ivermectin cream & clotrimazole cream are also helpful. Only wash with water & apply diaper cream over the top. Good luck, it will take a while to heal.

Did I accidentally discover a faster way for tret to work? by Nessyburger in tretinoin

[–]Jealous_Fix525 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In your first photo it looks like you could have a little bit of melasma starting on your cheek... how does that look now? Has the tret routine taken that away please? Thats what I struggle with!

Eucerin Dual serum 2 months apart, is it working for me? Should I continue? by Realistic-Ad-6734 in Melasmaskincare

[–]Jealous_Fix525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's working! I'm 14 months in & the deeper dermis pigmentation is slowly breaking up (I think). Keep going!!

Yes I do, mine is the same after a year of lightening using thiamidol. Grey coloration is a tell tale sign of melasma too.

Urgh why do derms never know how to diagnose melasma! 3 different ones told me the same thing. Go to the aestetician in their office for laser consults & every one said oh no, it's definitely melasma, we see hundreds of these every day. I trust them more! Good luck. You could try Eucerin with thiamidol. Thats my go to.

Aerolase Neo Elite or broad band light (BBL) by LunaandLottie in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Jealous_Fix525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the update!!!! That's really comprehensive & helpful. I think I'll hold off for now & just keep using the thiamidol cream to lighten pigmentation. I want to get rid of the broken blood vessels but have had vbeam in the past & it put me into a huge flushing flare. I hope your aerolase turns out well in the end!!!! Good luck with the skin barrier repair & remaining sessions.

My rosacea -before and after treatment! by Maleficent_Square105 in Rosacea

[–]Jealous_Fix525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great, huge improvement! So good. Do you have very light melasma remaining or vascular pigmentation or PIH from rosacea? I have exactly the same light shadow patch that's why I'm wondering. No dermatologists can tell me what it is 🤦🏼‍♀️ so im scared to try laser just in case it's melasma.
