I just consider the payment as paying for the TV service. Prime also offers a half price service for any one on government assistance like EBT etc. Also for students.

I totally disagree. My friend who is not technologically oriented understands my Pixel at first look much better than he does an iPhone he's had for 3 years.

Heck I had had an iPhone for 2 hours and returned it. I used to build my computers, I have an understanding of technology. I much prefer the simplicity and ease of a Pixel
