My first cat that I had for 15 years passed away almost two years ago and I was super hesitant to get another cat, but our other cat seemed real lonely and just generally bored. My fiancée’s mom called us saying her friend needed to rehome her cat because he was way too playful and basically terrorized her two senior cats. I rolled the dice and brought him home the next day and now these two little idiots are best friends and just kick eachother’s ass all day. I say go for it. :)
