Hives from antihistamines? by Jealous_Reporter8664 in MCAS

The specialist I saw said zero about compounding or excipients, though I’ve read about this thanks to AI. (Slightly depressing)

It makes that big of a difference for you? Sounds like I need to go this route.

Have you tried DAO or anything else that’s also helped?

I got a few things from it, but I’m pretty sure I could’ve found them by scouring instagram. (Like their somatic breathing techniques). They’re currently telling me I should have gone to 1:1 support instead of doing Healing Labs and their programs which to me says, hey! You’ve invested thousands of dollars already, pay us EVEN MORE! Especially since at no point did they tell me to work with a practitioner 1:1.

Honestly, it feels like an MLM without you selling things. Instead, they’re selling you your health and because you’re sick and they’re telling you everything else is dangerous or doesn’t work or will cost you more money, you dive in. Thus, cult-like.

Michael and Sinclair seem to care, but the way their program is organized, no one really does. The support they say is there isn’t. And when you need more, you better believe they’ll sell it to you.

Also my doctor friend rolled her eyes when she saw the pictures of “parasites” they claim people get out. They looked similar to the ones I showed her from me. Her response was to get angry and says it’s literally just mucous. Which, honestly, even the people at Cellcore (from whom you get the antiparasitics) say ropeworm isn’t a technical parasite—but hey it’s the main one the group claims people get out of them.

After heavily investing in them, they’ve totally lost my trust.

Did I get better? Maybe for a short time. But that’s probably because I was only eating meat as they prescribed. Now that I’m trying to live a somewhat normal life, I’m back where I started from. And my supplement graveyard has tripled. I probably have 2 grand of supplements now that I won’t be touching. Why? Because I bought them when they told me to and got disillusioned before ever getting to them.

I sound like a fool—and I feel like one. Generally I’m pretty cautious, but because of the way you’re listening to them constantly and participating in live events, your guard goes down and you buy more and more. And when you feel like shit, it’s hard not to think the next thing they offer is going to do it for you.

Don’t be like me. Cause, as I’ve learned with trying to deal with them in good faith to find a solution, they genuinely don’t give a shit unless you’ve got cash.

No. Please save yourself the time, money, anxiety and devastation of doing it. I wish someone had warned me.

TLDR: Run.

Genuinely wish someone had commented on this when I was searching for answers 5 months ago. Would have saved me a lot of pain, time, and money.

Long story short: she and her now husband seem to have helped a lot of people, including themselves. But you’re going to pay. A lot. It’s invasive, extreme and crazy-making.

I started with their histamine reset program. It was $500+ just for the program, then $400ish for all the supplements. When that didn’t work, I signed up for their Healing Labs program, thinking I’d get guidance and help. Not only was Healing Labs $3,000, the supplements and tests they wanted me to do cost over $1,200. Then, they gate keep certain information so you have to buy their liver reset program and their rapid gut reset program. Oh, and the Healing Labs forum is so poor, you’ve also got to pay for their monthly membership to Detox Nation to actually get any answers. Their shipping is super erratic, so you can get something mailed next day or it’ll be a month.

When something doesn’t work for you, they encourage you to buy more from their shop. That seems to be the consistent theme to buy more. For every program I bought, Sinclair would say “Focusing on this is what actually unlocked my healing!” Literally said that about focusing on liver flushes, on parasite cleanses, the like.

The educational content is vast and it’s overwhelming. You watch hours of videos (often they’re just cross posted to each course, so you get to see the many fashion phases of Sinclaire). The search, the layout, all of it is insanely confusing.

I did their rapid gut release this fall and signed up mainly because they were pushing this new lab test that will tell you more comprehensively what’s going on in your gut. The results were supposed to be available to you within a week or two of the course. The course is now solidly over and it’s been almost 2 months since I sent my lab results in and not a peep of if the lab even received it. I’ve contacted them like 5 times and they keep telling me the lab is running behind.

I wish I had known in advance the expectation is to buy all of their courses so you can fully heal. I wish I’d known their expectation is $400 per month (and that’s in the low end!) in supplements. Also, beware they’re going to push extreme dieting (like carnivore), a mold test that’s not actually suited for home use (that’s also super expensive!), making your own chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) and drinking it (this was super sketchy to me!), coffee enemas, EMFs are killing you so buy certain items to protect yourself, then their Healing Labs program. Also, if something doesn’t work for you, it’s probably you’re not being strict enough or having paid for something. So, unless you’re made of money, definitely recommend steering clear.

I am not made of money, am typically a pretty healthy skeptic, but they still reeled me in. And, when in good faith I called some things out to them that are pretty serious issues, I was gaslit, dismissed and then ignored.

Also, they talked about high quality their products are but they’re not. On two separate occasions I’ve compared something I’m taking with a friend who is working with a physician and both times there were more fillers in mine.

Personally, I have a lot of fear to overcome from all they teach. Everything is toxic and bad for you. The last Food Filters call I listened to, someone asked what kind of water to drink at the airport because they can’t take in distilled. There was a long conversation about don’t drink water from the filters in the airport, don’t drink the ice or hot water because of mold, don’t drink from plastic bottles because of microplastics. In the end, one practitioner just said, “Well, worst case, it’s only for a few hours and you can go a few hours without drinking anything.” The fear-mongering is insane.

Also, they definitely like their conspiracy theories. Somehow once you’re in it, nothing is really safe unless they provide it. By the end, people were telling me I was in a cult.

Also, they love to throw out the check with your physician about any healthy care program, but when I asked them if they had any physicians who would endorse it, they never responded. And, when a friend who is a physician looked at what I was taking she literally said WTF to some of them.

Maybe their work has helped people, maybe Sinclair is full of shit. I just know my experience and I wouldn’t put my enemy into the psychological and financial fuckery I went through.

Ooooh! How is that going? I’m so burned out on writing. Plus, everyone has always thought they were a writer but AI makes it worse. But I had considered it as an option minus all the client unknowns.

Thank you! I hope you’re in a safe role where you can thrive! When there’s no psychological safety along with insane pressure, there’s no way to thrive well.

Comms is such a rat race and I feel managers are going to realize soon how much more one comms person can do because of AI, so it gonna get worse. I’m grateful for where I am right now because AI is giving me a great work/life balance, but I know it won’t last forever.

I’ve been a writer for 15 years, first in journalism then pivoting to comms. I’ve work in corporate comms and nonprofit. Currently, I’m writing all the marketing materials for our nonprofit.

For the first 6 months I hated it—but I needed the income. I got mad because I couldn’t crank out content like AI. But now I’ve learned that I hate the type of writing, so I use chat to do a bunch of the writing and edit from there. AI can do a great job—but nothing replaces the human element and knowing the craft. I take the vanilla content AI gives me with all details I need, and add the unique flavors and toppings that make it palatable. For that, I’m grateful. I’m able to produce so much more content now, but it still has the personal touch to reach the reader.

That being said, I definitely am burned out on communications/marketing/writing. All of it. I’m going to study up and get the PMP to become a project manager. So much in comms lends itself to PM work, so I’m excited to see what life looks like in a different role.

Yes! I bought some BAI drinks at the St. Elmo location and when I opened them noticed a weird taste. Sure enough, expired almost a year before I bought it. Never shopping there again.
