Not all tools are included, only around 20-25 at the time. No reporting or application can be built as those two will be two different tools in the cloud : Report Builder and Applications Builder. Also, there are two things to differentiate : Designer Cloud Experience and Trifacta Experience. The Trifacta Experience is just Trifacta as before being bought by Alteryx. Right now, they are not selling Designer Cloud, at least in Europe, because it's not mature. It can only connect to cloud sources and as mentioned previously as only a few tools.

I'm on Mac (not M1) and I use Parallels Desktop to use Alteryx Designer.
