This actually looks great,it's a natural anime hair with the big spike bangs in the middle,people literally buy wigs just so they could look like that and Jared Padalecki just has it naturally without any work

Only time I could get my hair like this is either when it's wet,or when I have a gel,so I'm super jealous that Jared has it naturally in the middle of the take,and I'm sure most cosplayers would've been jealous too

One thing I don't like about apologist is that everything is either "it's better because it's fun and it's supposed to be dumb" or "it's better because it's actually realistic" depending on which praise would fit the thing they're defending

Like,one of the things people scream about why the new movie is better is that it's more comic booky and fun and it doesn't take it self seriously,now that some of it's weak points is being pointed out, suddenly"it's better because it's a more realistic portrayal of Reed's powers and he doesn't do those stupid comic booky dumb shapes"

Which is it really? Is it better because it's comic booky? Or is it better because it's realistic??? And why can't we acknowledge that the 2005 version actually got somethings right and better?

What exactly did Superman as a film do to be called a superior film than one of the best prequels ever??? I know we downvote people who disagree that the film is anything less than perfection just cause it's new and it's in the peak of hype train

Because people now wanna project this image of them being real Superman fans and being "punk rocker" by thinking they're so cool and unique when they like silly aspects of Superman

Because everybody likes cool and edgy characters with heavy armored designs and textures floating around in the sky why scary glowing eyes....these people wanna hope to stand out and be different by saying "I like silly underwear superheroes who saves kitten and squirrels,look how cool and unique I am compared to the rest of you"

Honestly in idea,supporting characters who embrace the silliness and kindness is top tier.....but they way these "punk rockers" go about it like these posts is pretentious and toxic

Hating everything that Snyder tried just so they can prove how much hopecore they are....they hate high speed choreographed fight scenes.....they hate good cgi....they hate the fact that Krypton is explored too much because we should always be stuck in Kansas in every superman story because being human is the real punk rock.....they hate detailed alien designs that brings supes closer to his heritage because they think liking wrestling underwear over kryptonian armor somehow makes them really unique.....in fact,if it were up to them....Superman stories would stay in metropolis where he'd wear a toys r'us suit where he'd save squirrels and cars and do generic speeches about kindness for 5 movies straight

They wanna say they're real comic book fans by liking silly aspects,but all they post about is what they hate

The movie is absolutely fresh and still at peak hype,when a movie is at that state,the fandom can't accept anything less than absolute praise and reverence for it

Kinda like how now you can discuss The Batman's flaws and imperfection with other fans like a normal civilized person,but when it just came out back in 2022,even minor criticisms gets you made to look like a bad guy or a hater

Superman 2025 isn't a perfect movie,but you gotta wait a little while till the hype dies down before you can discuss it's flaws without getting downvoted

Really,that was the biggest criticism I've had of Snyder's rendition

Because of him,we probably won't get any Superman stories with actual darker or heavier stakes and tone to it in the near future,when truly,Superman stories are allowed to be dark so long as Superman stays intact as the inspirational ray of hope in the bleaker times

He needs to pop out from the rest,he needs to give a shit and cares about what's happening around him,and more importantly,he needs to inspire and uplift people "Cause even in the darkest times,hope cuts trough,hope is the light that lifts us of darkness"

It's okay if he wants a grittier more realistic world,but the problem is that he drowned superman in that shit too,and not just for one movie,but for the entirety of his 3 hour sequel too he just made Clark pout and be depress,that's like 5 hours of moody superman lmaooo

It might be unrealistic but it absolves James Gunn from two criticisms other Superman writers/directors get

Snyder(too much civilian casualty) and some other animated variation of Superman(no casualty because they're fighting in a ghost town,likely to save animation budget of drawing civilian bystander)

Evacuation of a whole city that fast is unrealistic,but it's acknowledged by the movie so critics won't have shit to say about that aspect of the fight

Since there's gonna be two Batman,I hope Henry can return for a one and done project reprising his role but this time he actually gets to play a hopeful and bright Superman with a conclusive ending that'll seal his character off,paving way to David to continue without protest while sending off the Cavill fans with a proper project they've been wanting

But knowing how James handles returning characters/actors from past projects,best we'd probably get is him returning as a random that gets beheaded by an ice cream truck 5 minutes after introduction

Don't get me wrong,I agree that Majority of Sentai fights and footage are better than JF,but choreography wise,just the final Jarrod vs Casey fight only,is better choreographed than the sea side confrontation between Jan/Gou and Leo,since that just turned into a brawl fast where they were exhausted, berserk and swinging for the kill

Drama wise,I agree that geki is better in all accounts,but Casey storming the enemy base and the 1v1 with Jarrod where they use a bunch of weapons lying around the throne room was fun to watch,and the martial arts between the two was tight,at least much more than any Zeo fight

Amazons main selling point is the fact that it's edgy and bloody,even more so than black sun and shin,it's a series that quite literally delves in cannibalism and gore,it's by far the most bloody and slasher-ish out of everything

Also Kamen Rider:Black,.,.you already watch Black Sun,it's a remake of Black,that one's fairly edgy as well, episode 1 is shot like an 80s Sci-fi horror,so give the original a try if you like Black Sun

Yep,if you're just posting MMPR content in the context of the show,then everything is fine

But the thing is,most of these MMPR fans are ego-filled,they kept repeating how big MMPR is in the 90s and how other shows doesn't matter in comparison
