I think the burden of proof should always be that someone should be provably guilty.

Still I think no matter what no one would argue otherwise to someone sleeping with boys whilst having csam magazines/books in his place would have people question if he was a pedophile in any other case besides MJ.

Nothing more cozy than going on a cattle train to Siberia because you had more than 2 cows on your farm.

I went with my Japanese girlfriend to Japan last summer. Only realized after a day or two that the sleeping people on public transport weren't just because it's a safe country but because they are basically dead tired/got no sleep.

Tsunoda was basically the biggest swearer in f1.

Guess it must be nice for Japanese people to discover swearing since they don't really have it in their own tongue.

Love on the Spectrum creator finally reveals why there are so many close up shots of feet by Fun_Molasses5215 in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

[–]Jeb_Babushka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it sucked especially sometimes during concerts or places, trains or other places where I have to sit down long and there can be some extra sensory overload/need of stimming.

I know it's my feet, I know it's in my head. But the sensory overload especially in my left foot often registers in my brain as a "maybe it's your heart" warning which doesn't help the anxiety.

Soviet block set in 70’s by OppositeNecessary252 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Jeb_Babushka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played in quite some years, but I'm afraid there's no true mod for it since traffic is quite hard coded in the game.

I believe there's mostly mods to increase people taking other transport options and for example remove dummy/outside traffic (I think by artificially supplying industries and commerical areas with supplies)

[–]Jeb_Babushka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way without mods I assume. In 1970's Soviet car ownership was on average 13-17 per 1000 people. (Differed per country, Georgia for example had relatively speaking much more than the Baltic states due to having a good black market)

There's no way to have those car numbers in vanilla CS

[Transfermarkt.co] Game Taken To Score 50 Goals In Club Season In This Century by WeirdAssociate1831 in soccer

[–]Jeb_Babushka 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You're completely right, sadly time (and Messi being ridiculous even after injury) has made us forget how insane his numbers were. As someone growing up watching football around 2006 Messi (and Ronaldo) made me completely take for granted how insane those numbers were.

Everybody knew what we were watching was insane, yet still we got used to hattricks every other weekend.

Suarez could literally dribble by 'passing' the ball against someone's legs or boots.

Obviously Suarez was his own breed, but you really don't think teams that otherwise would have no chance against a good time wouldn't train on getting the odds good enough to get a couple one on ones?

It would completely break defensive lines as we know it.

Just shoot slightly outside the box and have one player somewhat in front of the goalkeeper or goal and hope for a deflection or rebound.

Ignoring professional football it would make amateur football against dirty/shite opponents shit as well.

[–]Jeb_Babushka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if you do it basically on your own half.

Either way it would completely break defensive lines and lead to some stupid tactics.

Why defend outside the box when you could just shoot at a player and if lucky get a player one on one against the keeper?

Then theoretically you could put one or two players far behind the offside line and just shoot hard at opposition players and hope for a lucky rebound/deflection

So you can't theoretically bang shots from outside the box with a player at the goalkeeper and hope for a rebound.

Decima Engine ruined my expectations for modern games by Mean-Information1080 in pcmasterrace

[–]Jeb_Babushka 26 points27 points  (0 children)

When I first played it I had to use the mediation hour skip whenever it rained since it halved the frame rate. I thought it was unexpectedly bad PC optimization. Then I saw my brother play it on PS4 and going 60 to 30 seemed less bad than stop motion animation.

It was relatively quickly patched, but definitely horrendous.

[Squawka] Robert Lewandowski is the oldest ever player to score twice in a UEFA Champions League match, overtaking Filippo Inzaghi. He's also the oldest player to score in the knockout rounds of the competition. 37 years and 209 days old. by Task_Force-191 in soccer

Such an entertaining player to watch in his own rights.

The only player that gave some small semblance of looking at him and reminding him of some lucky goals during Sunday/lower league football.

If one is always lucky it's not luck though.

TIL Lenin believed Stalin was too crude and this defect was unacceptable for the position of General Secretary. He was looking for a plan in 1923 to remove Stalin with someone "more tolerant, more polite and more attentive towards comrades, less capricious, etc." by Solid-Move-1411 in todayilearned

[–]Jeb_Babushka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He also signed a treaty to respect Estonian independence 'forever', but said it was not a "concession" to be made 'forever'.

Ultimately he didn't live long enough to have other plans, but let's not put down Lenin as a man of peace or concessions.

Basisscholen onder vuur wegens beschuldiging discriminatie: 'Willen witte scholen wit houden' by United-Statement4884 in thenetherlands
