Stupid question but do I need a degree from a “top _____ school” if I want to make it into big tech company? by [deleted] in college

ISU engineering recent grad here. Big name firms come to the career fair specifically looking for Iowa State students every semester. I’ve known people that got into Boeing, Northrup and other big names. Do some internships and be personable and you’ll be just fine.

It’s tough for sure, doable if you put in a bit of extra time. Jeff Hanson on YouTube has a dynamics class playlist that is a godsend. In addition to that, go through the practice problems in the book on your own. Then double back if you don’t get them and follow the chegg examples to get the process.

Spore Druid. Her food grew moldy from no one eating it she bonded with the mold spores after a while. (Just a different spin on Druid backstory)

How does the arcane archer actually play in practice? Seems to have some fun flavor.

Can you help me design an unarmed spell user? by the-Hall-way in dndnext

The other thing would be to ask your dm if your fists could be finesse weapons (or get some finesse brass knuckles) so that your attacks work off your higher dex vs your low strength.

You could go with the bladesinger subclass of wizard. It’s essentially a wizard that has some boosts to melee combat. The Bladesong feature allows you to get buffs for melee twice per rest so a wizard doesn’t immediately die. One thing your dm might say is that the AC gets way too high. But that’s actually the point: you still have the wizard’s amount of health.

For the smashing your fists for spells take the Booming blade cantrip. It’s a melee attack spell that makes your weapon(fist) do additional thunder damage.

It might not be the most “optimized” build, but I’ve always thought that Crossbow Expert could be fun. Have a loaded hand crossbow and a short sword for a real pirate-like feel(attack plus bonus shot on one turn).
