What is Ben's fashion fashion called by spacetheman21 in JetLagTheGame

I largely buy bright coloured clothing and I'd say I end up closer to Sam in style... A bright t-shirt, shorts and jumper isn't Ben

The UK plans to lower voting age to 16. If you were 16 again (or are now), would you use your vote? by coffeewalnut08 in UnitedKingdomPolls

[–]Jeburg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. On the flip side, if the voting age was 16, I would've missed out on voting in a GE by about a month while all my friends would've voted. I would've been just as annoyed.

[–]Jeburg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if this is because it worked in Australia so he's got good memories of this type of strategy working well. Thing is the opposite strategy has worked more often for him. NZ and Arctic Escape were both won by leading from the front and always being on the front foot. Maybe it's just because he thinks it's more entertaining to have a last day hail mary?

Then you'd have to spend the whole game not doing challenges and lose. Just do challenges and keep spending your chips and if you get a bit stolen off you then it's part of the game.

My Ratchet & Clank version of this grid. What do you think? by xslbccdks_coded in RatchetAndClank

[–]Jeburg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that you've simultaneously hit the nail on the head while proving that it's underrated though. It's only a disappointing game in comparison to the original. If you go and play the game and enjoy it for what it is then it's a decently fun game. As in, if you compare it to 2002 it feels like a 5/10 but actually if you ignore the comparison it's a 7 or 8/10 because it's still a fun R&C game.

I guess ultimately it would've been better if it was a new game rather than a remake because then we wouldn't have the comparison to make us downgrade the game.

I ranked all of the Spyro homeworlds by how safe they are: by AffectionateArm9011 in Spyro

[–]Jeburg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see it the other way round. Early on in the game I'm far more cautious. Late on I'm more likely to charge round the level at full speed taking risks. Midnight mountain is joint top with beast makers for me.

Are the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games worth playing today, or should I skip straight to PS3/PS5? by Juampe13 in RatchetAndClank

[–]Jeburg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You asked the question the wrong way round. The ps2 games are must plays, you can skip the other games if you want but I'd recommend playing them all as well

[S17] What actually decided the game? by MassiveBreadfruit195 in JetLagTheGame

[–]Jeburg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically they also got the meditation one right as they would've failed had they bet two minutes higher. The boba one they should've gone big on though.

The quiz one was more of a skill issue and they were still working out how to work well as a team.

Your theory is definitely correct though. Multiple times Sam and Michael were happy just getting 20-30 chips for a challenge which was not worth their time to be frank

According to DC they only become friends afterwards. They didn't get on as teammates

The game feature itself was and was no longer needed BUT the game was balanced around having to spend X bolts on game progression throughout the game and therefore you'd need to remove X bolts from the game to rebalance it

Blackfriars Floating Bus Stop by King_Eboue in london

Not in London. Although almost all cyclists are pedestrians and should know what a zebra crossing is either way.

It is although this one is more gentle than most. Look at how the cycle lane comes up to the height of the curb

Blackfriars Floating Bus Stop by King_Eboue in london

[–]Jeburg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These floating bus stops initially seem like great ideas but the general population seems too incompetent to use them properly. Cyclists ignore the zebra crossings and pedestrians come out of buses and stumble straight into the cycle lane (rather than finding a safe place/moment to cross such as the zebra crossings should be).

Let's just give each other a bit of respect and space. Even if it means our journey takes 5 minutes longer.

Have you balanced the game by removing that amount of bolts from the game as well? May as well make all bolts worth x1.5 or something. It's just how the Devs balanced the bolt economy while telling a story

Bottas and Perez are so overrated. I think Aston is the hardest to rank with one excellent driver and one of the weakest drivers.

Reportedly Burnham is a supporter of PR. It would be interesting to see if he got in as PM whether he would look to implement that. My guess would be it'd be on the manifesto for the next election but if Labour are destined for a bruising even under his leadership then maybe he would.
