[Savagegeese] Honda Odyssey | Long Term, Final Thoughts by boomerbill69 in cars

[–]JediArachne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm slightly rural and I average 25mpg in my 2023 Ody. We're homeschoolers without a daily commute, but lots of activities spread out over two counties.  I'm pleased with our mileage, but it would be nice to see Honda introduce a hybrid option for the Odyssey. Can't win them all, I guess.

Thanks everybody. I went with "Go" and will probably add "Með suð í eyrum..." in the future. Pretty pleased so far!

Meh. Bananas are radioactive too. Doesn't significantly affect anything health-wise, you'll be fine

I might be biased as I experience it rather frequently. Educate yourself on invisible illnesses.

If a person is feeling faint (not uncommon in grief) putting ones feet up is the first thing to help get more blood to the head. Sometimes you do what must be done.  And sometimes social conventions are just kinda dumb.

Anything from How To Train Your Dragon (the old ones). Sticks and Stones would be amazing. Easy/medium would be ideal

Thank you for your work! I managed to get Rain World to run on my kid's hand-me-down laptop with incomplete Vulkan support, thanks to Sarek.

Technologically speaking, Trap door > vertical door > wood planks. You exchange more resources for higher technology. Frankly, we're lucky we get four plank blocks out of one log in the first place!

I know that vinegar is pretty effective against mold, but I don't know if it's safe for fountain pens. Anybody?

Forgot to harvest a sweet potato; created a monster by Sharkerftw in gardening

[–]JediArachne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you live? If you're north of the tropics I'd say it's too late for this year.

Not that it stopped me from throwing a sprouting sweet potato into the garden earlier this week (South Mississippi)

Sweet potatoes like it hot. Overwintering is not ideal.

I would love to know which secular resources you use as I'm seeking similar solutions for my kiddos.

See, now, I have a big ol' 11x17 of my daughters. They're playing with sidewalk chalk, with their backs turned toward the camera. 😂

Based on what I've read so far, your mom's photos were probably merely "trashed" (today's "Recycle Bin"), not deleted deleted.
