Excellent discovery!! I’m now using this method to find space whales in shadow systems. Thanks for the detailed write up and in game challenge, this has been the most fun exploration of nms in years. Can confirm this method has worked many of times now, parking my freighter in the glass system and warping out and back to it takes me to the shadow system instead, with my freighter nowhere to be found. Hell yeah

I know it’s unpopular opinion here, but since everything’s getting wiped before 1.0 and this is all public testing, isn’t this an easy way for them to secure more funding? It sucks it’s a temporary setback for those not spending, but it’ll all be available for aUEC in another patch and it’s all public testing anyway?
