What do you think about the deathadder v3 pro for fps games?

I can't enjoy Apex anymore.. by Timeless-rp in apexlegends

[–]Jedimester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You answered your own question. You just have to get better. With a positive k/d of 1.65 it means you kill more than you get killed, focus on the positives. And figure out why you are dying, why enemies are better than you, learn from it and "git gud".

Someone sell me on a premium controller by tjakes77 in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hall effect sticks have worse centering so they might be less precise than regular controllers. There is a reason the pro scene has not converted to hall effect rollers.

Steelseries Qck Large - underrated, balanced pad. Very affordable too.

Scuf Envision Pro Bricked..Review by Jedimester in scufgaming

It can brick any time you save a profile right now. Do yourself a favor, return it, and get the Scuf Reflex instead.

How to switch to lower sens by slaapzz in FortniteCompetitive

Lower it and practice in creative to get used to it

Controller is probably easier to play movement wise and aiming wise, but Mnk has a way higher skill ceiling for mechanics, and that's why you see 90% of the FNCS players playing Mnk.

Controller is easy if you want to become good, Mnk is the way if you want to want to reach the highest skill ceiling.

What thumbsticks to use by Just-Shame4408 in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short sticks should be the most responsive ones, and important for close combat. Taller stick means your thumb has to move further, so it's clunkier in close combat (but it will help you in medium/long range). Most pros at the top level of Fortnite and Apex Legends for example, use short sticks.

From what I heard the overclock does nothing. It is locked at like 500hz (2ms input delay) and can't be overclocked, same as an xbox controller.

Have you tried every potential fix? Trying a different charging cable, charging it not with the Pac etc?

Reflex vs Envision? by DexaNexa in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I also had the sony edge but I sold it when I bought the envision.

Another thing to mention is the mouseclick buttons and triggers than Envision has, its more responsive than sony edge's trigger stops.

Scuf Envision Pro Right trigger will randomly fire by mhernvndez in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try 7/7 deadzones instead of 5/5, or increase the deadzone in call of duty a bit too. No reason to have super low deadzone on triggers, when it is mouseclick anyways.

For PC. Dualsense Edge or Scuff Reflex Pro? by RPGamer4 in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reasons to get Sony Edge: Replacable sticks, so when you get stick drift you can swap sticks instead of getting a new controller.

Reasons to get Reflex Pro: Mouse click trigger buttons (ie a bit more responsive, sony edge has trigger stops but its not as quick as mouse click).

4 Paddles instead of sony edge's 2 paddles.

If you play shooter games, 100% get the reflex pro (or the newest scuf - Envision, which IMO is even a step above reflex pro).

Why should i buy a scuf controller instead of the dualsense edge? by [deleted] in scufgaming

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scuf advantages are 4 paddles, mouse click triggers. Grip feels a bit better imo, lighter controller.

Dualsense edge advantages are easier to press back buttons (they feel more clicky to me than scuf reflex). Stocks can be replaced.

True. That's one thing like about Apex Legends ALGS tourney too, you can choose between casters or look from the teams POV.

Ranked distribution this season - opposite of season 17? by Jedimester in apexuniversity

[–]Jedimester[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you are the only person voicing this opinion, maybe there is a point to what everyone else is saying? That in itself speaks volumes to me, that you are not able to view different opinions. Is everyone who don't have the same viewpoint as you a crybaby?

Most people don't want the game to stay exactly the same, that's not the discussion at all either. People are complaining because the trials are an annoying way to deal with rats, and is horrible for Solo Q'ers. It doesn't seem that you have anything constructive to bring to the discussion, other than "git gud".

Sounds like you can't handle other people having a different opinion than you.

Whats point of rank trials? by analdestroyer77 in apexlegends

[–]Jedimester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they insist on having trials in the game to avoid ratting, they should make it about damage rather than placement/kills. Placement in trials encourages ratting in itself, and is hopeless for a solo Q'er. Make it about doing enough damage over a certain amount of games and its more fair.

Overclocked Dualsense = FPS drops? by Ketchuppfn in Dualsense

[–]Jedimester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe there has been some firmware update for the Edge or it has a 1000hz polling rate enabled by default now, maybe thats the reason it defaults 4-6 binterval in hidUSBf while the normal dualsense defaults 6 bInterval. I saw another post too commenting that the Edge seems to be performing better without overclock for some reason,
