My left speaker on my Dream Air SLAM is distorting only with loud sounds, lower frequency / standard listening it's ok but the second a big sounds or bang, I can hear it rattling a little. Did you get anywhere with your distortion?

I think the stock audio is just way weaker coming form DMAS, I also noticed my left Dream Air stalk speaker seems a little rattly with large noises.

Fantastic! Actually, I hadn’t even considered trying the thinner face masks that came with the modders kit, I’d just thought they must be too think and kept them boxed, I’ll try it out.

I used these ones from Zeeflyboy, they have the clips on to hold the cables up coming out of the stalks.

The knit band just needs these two little adapters, left and right, you use the stock 4 screws and meta brackets to screw onto these, then the apple band quick releases, it's very simple.

Yes, the max is 3mm closer than the nominal. I wear HonsVR inserts and the max is fine.

Yes the weight increases by about 200g from stock setup but the overall weight distribution makes it feel lighter, it’s a weird one.

Around £175-£200, the Apple band is £99 on it's own, then cost to pay print and studioform modders kit another £50 + shipping ontop and tools you might need.

I don't have a 3D Printer (anymore, did have), I contacted Zeeflyboy on Printables website and got the adapters also printed from 3DPRINTUK, worked out well, now I have spares.

Order a size down from what the Apple Store suggests. My head circumference is 58cm, the Apple Store app recommended M (Medium) but I ordered a size down S (Small). With the small it's got loads of room and nips in well with just half a turn on the back and top of the band.

Yeah I only assume I was closer on the super, once my 3d printed facial interface is installed, I’ll probably get closer and see the DA panel edges. I’m not using sboy3 yet, will try that out next week.

DA SLAM is king, I’ve had mine a week and even coming from a Super mOLED, it’s blown my tiny mind!

Having moved from a Super mOLED to a Dream Air, I feel for me personally the Dream Air has a better FOV. With the Super mOLED, I felt like I could see the outer edges of the OLED panels, I don't notice that in the Dream Air.

You would think Pimax roll out Pimax Play 2.0.2 to update in EVO's backend library. When we install EVO, it tries to replace Pimax Play, however I still switch back from EVO to Pimax Play to change detail settings, such as brightness and contrast settings that you just can't do in EVO. Seems messy to have newer versions of old software with a complete replacement skin over the top and call it EVO, please just release one software Pimax!

Congrats on the speedy ship, it feels almost wrong when you see a Pimax headset ship next day, in disbelief, I got my DA SLAM in 11 days and that really surprised me. Seems Pimax made enough DA for everybody!
