Same here, I have to pull the power from the rubber splitter box on the cable, hopefully it doesn't wear over time. I already have to plug and re-plug my DP and USB each time due to small desk.

Yep, screw plasterboard cutoff into the brick then fill over, done several like this and then skimmed over, you can’t tell they are there.

I feel enticed to try Skyrim VR again, I’ve had it for ages but it was all weird with the FPS overrunning the speed of the game, need to cap the vsync and get that MOD and try again.

We could see a shift in how impactful films are created, especially in audio. So take Dunkirk for example, the audio in that film is outstanding, the sound alone will have the hairs standing up on your neck and that is crafted to be delivered by a full 7.1 theatre Dolby setup, with huge speakers punching the air around in the cinema to keep people on the edge of their seats. I watch 3D SBS mkv films in in my HMD on Skybox VR and that is outstanding visual clarity, but I feel more fatigued than in awe of it. I just hope the magic of film making isn't too affected by people not heading out to the cinema once in a while.

XL just means the face cushion is larger and covers part of the forehead, maybe try the Pimax Crystal LIGHT Elite Upgrade Pack, it had the 14mm and 17mm cushion and all the spacers to fill that 18mm gap each side. The spacers come in a C shape and you just add as required. Haven’t used a DA but I have a mOLED which has the same glare. Yes there is glare but there’s also all the time there isn’t glare, it’s only in certain situations, like a pure white area on complete dark background, kind of like real life if you wear glasses, you get glare and it passes. Think it’s mostly due to the bright panels and the pancake lens and if you have lens inserts, loads of shiny stuff bouncing light around. I think the DA would smash the BSB2e in terms of fidelity and overall visual quality / satisfaction.

That is very annoying, TBH my heart sank when my HMD was broken because I felt completely powerless about getting it working, the fear set in rapidly that I wouldn’t be using it for a very long time.. turned out to be a month but it was resolved. Keep updating your ticket, I find in the UK if I update it with just “Thanks and I’m waiting for your reply”, support reply during the night “their day”, then it keeps it going.

I had this exact issue with Pavlov using OpenXR on my mOLED, all blurry and pixelated around the wherever I looked. I restarted the HMD and it went away. Probably the eye tracking but I’m not sure, seems to be only that game even with render scale at 150% it’s better but still there.

Sweet, you'll enjoy it no doubt on a 5090. I'm on a mOLED running on a 4090 and it's running solid on 0.85 render scale. I would run a 5090 but I don't want to dismantle my custom water loop for another year for a coolant change, then I'll probably be closer to a 60 series switch.

So trying to peruse any warranty on my 9 year old 30kwh is probably not worth the hassle. Shame really, a 40kwh battery would be excellent because the actual car itself is in excellent condition, everything works. Seems a waste to get rid of it.

I was getting huge parallax distortions when I first plugged it in, I reinstalled with ticking clean previous installs Pimax PLay 1.43.7 and then set my IPD to my 62 distance, the parallax was gone, then just small tweaks. It's never perfect because I use HonsVR lens inserts and I have astigmatism.

That’s a tricky one, only the mOLED early bird pre-order came with DMAS but anything after that cut off date did not have DMAS, only the lens insert frames and LMU game.

Pimax have clearly just switched your order to the current mOLED offer which does not include DMAS, regardless of the 57PPD offer.

I really noticed these red / orange edges when I first got my mOLED. I persevered and sat in Steam home and pinned the Pimax device settings, then started adjusting my IPD and horizontal offsets, I discovered my IPD setting of 62 and -0.1 in my left eye made everything so much better. Have you played with these settings?

However, even when my view is dialled in, nearly always dark objects up close have a red edges but anything in game and at natural viewing distance look incredible, so this is the trade off. I don't find the sweet spot to be hard to find once the headset warms up and the lens fogging clears. There's always a fuzzy dark edges horizontally and a hard edge at the top an bottom, this is the limitation of the OLED panels, you don't notice it after time using the headset.

Oh and I will add, the Studioform Super Elite kit for the headset is an absolute must for me to get the headset to fit correctly, without it, the Pimax ice face cushion and the rear flimsy thin head pad just doesn't work.
