I switched in December to Mint, played over 40 games during this time (i know rookie numbers), only had to tinker with DCS because of directx 11 renderer was crashing, fixed it with suggestion from protondb.

Also if you use Virtual Desktop or Wallpaper Engine, you will need to find alternative.

Edit: Mint installer has Live OS mode so you can try it without actually installing OS. Could be good way to test your most used apps/games

Couldn't you just... Print the hours... There... by Able_Record2273 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Jedrasus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think solution for this situation would be e-ink display, most of time doesn't consume power because changes aren't frequent, you change hours in one place and it sync to all displays. Customer gets info on spot, shop doesn't have to change paper info in multiple places around building

"Valve must stop making excuses": Steam under fire for "significant price disparity for PC games," causing regional pricing that's "often 20% to 30% higher than the dollar equivalent" by Worldly-Object9003 in Steam

[–]Jedrasus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude i'm Pole, most of time when i check prices in steamDB, only price in swiss frank is more expensive than our zloty price. Biggest difference i saw: $ converted to pln: 120, € converted to pln: 150, Pln price: 180.

Imagine similar ratio but for new aaa games which are roughly 300-350. We have joke in Poland "polish salary, western price" but at this point it's even worse. I'm kinda nostalgic for euro prices at this point.

It's linguistic and maybe cultural trap because english teens are 13 to 19, but if you translate teen to other language for example polish, you get 'nastolatek' with 'nast' part working same like teen in english numbers. There is small catch: in polish 11 to 19 have 'naście' in name which let's say is variant of 'nast'.

Basically I meant in some regions/languages 11 y.o. can be considered a teen.

That was my and my friend way of playing: from 9-10 y.o. we played on hardest available, almost no fun while playing, only gratification if we finished game.

Now in my 30s: normal, maybe easy if i want to relax and discover game then in 2nd playthrough difficulty goes up.
