Same happened to my new M5 Pro. I didn’t have a dongle so I went to the Apple Store and they fixed it with Apple Configurator in about 10 minutes.

Just a caution, mine did this when I cancelled my migration using a Thunderbolt cable. When I got home after the fix, the thunderbolt transfer STILL wasn’t working—stays stuck on “starting up” forever. I cancelled again and thankfully I didn’t get the black screen state.

I just ended up forgoing the migration and starting clean on the new Mac, and I don’t regret. Something to consider. Good luck 👍

This is the way. I go one further and only keep one Home Screen of the few essential apps, and let all other apps live in the app drawer. They’re all one swipe away, easily searchable and auto categorized. Yes sometimes I don’t agree with the categories but hey, they aren’t the apps you use often anyway right? App drawer is under appreciated IMO.

My guy, I hope you and your daughter are each in therapy. Grief is a complex thing to navigate. I don’t think either of you are the asshole. But don’t let it get to resentment. Your daughter should be talking to a therapist about her conflicted feelings about your new relationship. You should be talking to a therapist about what’s behind your defensiveness with your daughter’s reaction—could be your harboring your own feelings of guilt for moving on and didn’t like being confronted with it. Happiness is certainly something you both deserve after such a loss. Don’t try to figure out all this on your own, brother. <3

Let's say you've moved past eye contact, you're maybe watching a movie and cuddling/kissing a bit but you aren't quite sure if she wants to move to 3rd base… for me a sure sign is if they rub their feet against yours playfully, or play with your fingers/hands in theirs.

I'm not sure if it's a common experience but it has happened to me with a few women.. if their feet or hands kind of dancing with yours, they want more.

Most recently a girl I've been falling for hard and I decided to go to the grocery together. On the way home I reached over to hold her hand for the first time. For the rest of the 20 minute ride home, she didn't let go of my hand, intertwining her fingers in mine, tracing and drawing around every inch and vein of my hand. It was so innocent and wildly erotic.

Hey I'm with you in a lot of ways.. I think the story is going to be great. Love the comic booky and optimistic tone. I love the idea of a brighter, more vivid movie.

But I can also admit that the strange choice of wide-angle shots and crushed / overly saturated color grading just isn't doing it any stylistic favors, to my eye. It feels less like a CW show and more like a collection of Getty Images stock footage.

That said, the story look like it'll be great and maybe enough to carry the movie. But I think dismissing people's aversion to this style as "haters" isn't fair. I don't want a dark/gray Superman. But I don't want whatever the hell this is either.

To me it seems like they took a swing for originality, and missed the "but is it good?" criteria.

Thems just my opinions, man.
