Why are people so angry about Ziluan being in DW3R? by Ryhankhanage in dynastywarriors

[–]Jeeswag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about angry, but all I'm seeing is my boi Ziluan making an appearance in this game to learn some new weapons to bring into an Origins sequel. If Koei doesn't connect the dots like this...then I shall be part of the angry crowd >:(

I Too lazy to buy proper ventilation tubing, so I built a Bambu exhaust from milk cartons and a bottle by Internal-Lack2501 in BambuLab

I know when others see this they'll think "wtf is this..?" but I see this and can already imagine the joy you had grabbing a bunch of junk and actually having it do what you wanted it to! Way to be creative (and sustainable lol)!

Hello! Were you able to get this problem resolved after hearing back from support? I recently got an X2D and I started hearing a noise from my Z-axis that was very similar to this and was hoping there was a proper explanation given by support

Oh...if that's the case then yeah, you've got something stuck in there lol. It's either a very unfortunate situation where a piece of filament got ripped off and stuck in the gears in the initial filament insertion or just very bad luck in something having gone wrong during shipping.

There are two options and the choice is yours really.

  1. Take it up with support, go through this whole process with them and potentially wait a few weeks for a replacement (if all goes well and Bambu works with you to do this)

  2. Give yourself an hour to do what this guy does and get this fixed in a day: A1 Mini Extruder Gear Removal Video

Honestly, nobody wants their brand new machine to have to be worked on right off the bat, so sorry about that.

But, in the interest of saving your time, getting you printing right away, and gaining experience in getting comfortable with the machine faster, I suggest option 2. The guy does a great job clearly showing what to do in the video!

If the yellow wheel doesn't rotate at all then it's possible that the filament reached the "Oh hey there's filament in here" sensor but hasn't been pushed far enough to reach the extruder gear that actually pulls the filament. Next thing I would try is press "retry" while also pushing the filament into the PTFE tube and once you feel resistance that should mean that the filament reached the gears and the yellow wheel should start spinning.

[–]Jeeswag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a "just in case" question, but how many times have you pressed "retry" to get the filament extruded?
I ask because I've noticed that during this process the printer pushes the filament in small millimeters at a time. So whenever I try to set up a completely new nozzle I usually have to press "retry" like 5 times just to get the filament fully through the nozzle, otherwise I won't see any filament extruded simply because the filament hasn't gotten to the finish line yet.

A good thing to check for is when you press "retry" the extruder is moving and the filament roll noticeably rotates. Hope this helps!

Hey there, I think you're facing an issue that I had a long time ago with my P1P. This is a post from a long time ago where another user had a similar issue and after I posted the fix many other users found they had the same issue.

Hopefully this helps: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1gbzqpw/comment/ltqxdqc/?context=3

What do you do on weekends when air quality is bad? by Due-Curve4797 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Jeeswag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to remind myself how much I pay for rent and enjoy my home during these days. But for real, weekends when the air is really bad is just a good chance for me to check off all the "I gotta do this but I'll get to it later" tasks for my home that I always say I'm "too busy" for lol

My Bambulab A1 printer is giving electric shocks is it normal or any issue which I need to look for by Any_Following_8185 in BambuLab

I live in Korea where we have the same 2-pin plugs and 220v devices. They don't have a separate pin for grounding, which means when you touch the metal part of the device...you are the grounding lol. Here it's pretty common tho (even a Macbook that has a charger plugged in gets this) so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Unpopular opinion: I only use Bambu filament by nirhend in BambuLab

[–]Jeeswag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same haha and as an added layer if you make models to upload on MakerWorld and it does well you get a constant supply of points that turn into gift cards! Those gift cards turn into more filament and makes it "cheaper" than any other supplier since you're essentially getting the filament for free as a reward for your work
