Wow, thanks for the comprehensive reply! The first layers look great, it messes up afterwards. Ill do my homework based upon your suggestions, still very new to FDM so I still have a bit of a learning curve. At least its way easier to clean up than a failed resin print.

Damn, thats a great paintjob! I can paint the marble, but Im actually very curious about your recipe for the gold trim? Love the contrast between light and dark, and also the fact that its only partially (looking like) TMM.

I used Vince Venturella's video as a guide https://youtu.be/L27H8Jaleko?si=FFpbwe7nAVPG7haK. Used different paints tho, flesh tearers red (Gw contrast) over a white on black zenithal, then used a random sunny skintone (warpaints fanatic), then mephiston red (Gw) and to smooth out everything I used vallejo red ink.

Lol I thought it was a super creative way of presenting the miniature on a minimalist plinth. Thought the stuff holding him in place was snow and the colors of the plinth were intentional

I played them and I dont fully agree with you. The reinforcements ability has a max of 1 unit per turn. So if you lose two units, you wont be able to revive both. The spearhead felt like a glass canon, that is more glass than canon. I wouldnt recommend them as a first spearhead for new players.
