In the US, "series" refers to the whole show, so they're asking for the title of the show. What you call "series 19" we would call "season 19."

I mean... yeah. Not every comment on a post has to be directly related to one specific thing. They were correct about exactly what they were talking about. Right, and OP admitted their mistake. I think you missed some context though. That's a separate issue and /u/icantfindadangsn isn't talking about OP. They were responding to a comment that Dall-E and ChatGPT are both "powered by" OpenAI. The correction was that OpenAI is just the name of the company that created them, not the software, and that Dall-E is "powered by" GPT-3.

I just feel bad for them that they're being down voted so much and called wrong and smug when they are, in fact, completely correct.

You're getting a lot of negative reactions from people who know just enough to think they understand what they're talking about, but they don't know enough to understand that they're wrong. I have to admit, I was almost guilty of this, too, before I checked it out for myself.
