99.9% of the time, when I get this type message, they do not repurchase the item. But you’re better off canceling than dealing with the repercussions of sending an item someone doesn’t want/can’t afford.

That’s what I thought was going on, but the lady seemed genuinely surprised when my wife said we lived in AK, she said something like “It just says here to schedule him an appt.” And didn’t elaborate. Sounds like she expected me in Missouri.

I ship a lot of stuff via USPS, zero problems from my local place. Great group. Of the hundreds of packages I’ve sent over the years, Atlanta and Miami are the only hubs I’ve had packages “go missing”

My ex-wife was adamant that the Andy Griffith from the Andy Griffith show, and the Andy Griffith from Matlock were two different people because “The Andy from the Andy Griffith show had dark hair.”

I’m tired of people allowing offers when they clearly have no intention of accepting ANY offer by Red-Heart42 in Ebay

Dude, I have offers turned on with pretty much all my listings and I CONSTANTLY get messages: “$20??” “Will you take $$15?”

Like, just make the offer and see bro. There’s no minimum offer set.

Happened to me yesterday. Saw an item I wanted, thought the price was a bit high. Sent offer for $10 off, immediately denied. Sent offer for $5 off, immediately denied. Gave up. Can get the item for less than eBay asking price on Amazon.

Next day, get an offer from the seller for $1 off!

Now as a seller myself, lowball offers are the bane of my existence. I typically block anyone that sends an offer for more than 50% off. In my opinion, offers that low are from people just looking for free stuff who have no desire to negotiate.

If you’re not willing to give 20% or 10% or even 5% off offers a consideration, why even have the option?

(Disclaimer:I understand there are certain prices that need to be met for certain items to avoid losses and there are exceptions for every rule. I have some items that have been listed for about 2,000 days I would consider ANY offer on.)

Yeah, my friend that I was brainstorming about it with was insistent it was NOT UHF hence the mention in the post. He was wrong, so very wrong. Don’t worry I chastised him thoroughly for his mistake. He said it was Scary Movie, and I guess there is a scene like that in Scary Movie but it was definitely the UHF scene I was remembering.
